Tom Brady's first season as the lead color commentator for Fox Sports could have gone better. He didn't draw rave reviews from anyone, with many criticizing him for being too robotic with bad cadence. In fact, people have been clamoring for Greg Olsen to be given his old role as the No. 1 guy for Fox again. That won't happen, simply because Fox paid Brady a ton of money for this job.
Despite his lofty salary, that didn't stop Brady from becoming a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. That would have been fine in a vaccum, but Brady doing both jobs places severe limitations on what he can and can't say about other franchises. Brady isn't tip-toeing the line either, if recent reports are to be believed. It's believed that Brady has been personally recruiting Detroit Lions OC Ben Johnson to be the Raiders' next head coach.
Did Tom Brady commit tampering with Ben Johnson?
On Wednesday, Johnson revealed that he spoke to Brady for the first time before a game against the Green Bay Packers on November 3. That isn't sitting right with fans, as it would have given the Raiders a leg up on speaking with Johnson before other interested teams could.
