You may have noticed one notably absent face from the recent MAFS Australia 2025 reunion episodes: Morena Farina. A few of the cast members decided to boycott the finale, but Morena has been the most vocal about her reasons why.
Morena was matched with Tony during the show, but things didn’t work between them. They struggled to find a connection, and it all went a bit south when Morena said Tony couldn’t come to term with her age, and suddenly flung upon her that he wanted children. After this, they left the experiment.
But now, Tony has appeared at the reunion alone. Morena has said she wants nothing to do with the show anymore, and had some damning words for Channel Nine. She spoke to Yahoo Lifestyle, and said she wasn’t coming to the reunion because she was handed the “villain edit”.
“Fool me once, not twice,” she said, before going into more about her invite to reunion. “No, I declined. They [Channel Nine] said to me, ‘You’ve got an obligation.’ I have no obligations. I’m done.
“On my remote, I’ve gotta actually put a cover on number nine. I’m done. I will never watch you. I don’t care what you put on there. Change your ethics, change your values. I understand you’ve got a show to do, and I used to say to them, ‘Do your job,’ but there’s a line.”
I mean, whilst MAFS Australia was airing Morena did go on a wild rant about the show, calling out how much of a terrible time she had. She branded MAFS a “sh*t show” and called out Tony quite a lot. So, are we surprised she’s gone a bit rogue and cut herself off? I’m not sure I am.
