‘This is my worst nightmare… I didn’t choose this life’ — Love Island’s Yas sparks hysterics in the villa as she struggles through the baby challenge and fans claim she’s ‘ready to launch the haunted doll into the pool’ - suong

Love Island fans were left in stitches when the iconic baby challenge returned on Thursday to put the remaining couples through their paces. 

Yas didn't shy away from making her despair clear with viewers claiming she looked ready to 'launch her doll into the pool.'

The segment had been a fixture of series past as couples were tasked with looking after some adorable new arrivals, with mixed results. 

As the babies entered the villa, she declared: 'This is my worst nightmare. I didn't want this life. I didn't choose this life.'  

Jamie was left to look after their baby, Elijah, while he cried, with Yas covering her head with a pillow. 

'I can't, you're going to have to take him outside. I just want peace and quiet,' she exclaimed before saying goodbye to their child.

'Bye Elijah. I'm sorry for being s***y mother, but I feel like you’re haunted,' Yas waved.

Fans of the programme shared their thoughts on X, saying she hadn't 'activated parent mode yet.'

They wrote: 'Yas looks like she wants to launch that baby back to the U.K. hahahahaha'; 'YasGPTs settings haven't updated yet for childcare-mode'; 

'I feel so seen after Yas’ behaviour in the baby challenge, she’s so me'; 'Yas couldn’t walk away from that fake baby fast enough!'; 'Yas is literally me when someone brings a baby into the office.'

For some couples it will no doubt be a rude awakening, with many yet to even declare themselves exclusive.

But for others, it could bring them closer together, as they get a glimpse at what their future could be when they leave the villa in a matter of days.

The baby challenge had previously sparked a string of viral moments, including the naming of Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood's child Cash Hughes, or Molly-Mae Hague's incredulous reaction to her boyfriend Tommy Fury's hilarious treatment of their bundle of joy.

Elsewhere the villa was hit by a brutal double dumping on Thursday night as Helena Ford and Blu Chegini were booted off the show.

The couple were eliminated just days ahead of Monday's final and it marked the second time for returning Islander Blu, who was given a second chance at love.

However, not all viewers were shocked as it had been leaked after eager fans spotted the boys filming in the village of Sant Llorenç in Mallorca, with Blu notably absent.

Helena and Blu found themselves in a friendship couple after Harry Cooksley decided to rekindle things with Shakira Khan just days after going exclusive with Helena.

And things weren't meant to be as Helena and Blu got the fewest votes from the public and were brutally dumped via text just moments after the talent show.
