‘They used a photo of me pregnant – like I’m carrying your baby’ – Vanderpump Rules alums Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz break silence on wild rumors they’re secretly dating and living together after flirty podcast sparks fan frenzy - suong

Pump Rules' Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz Respond to Rumors of Dating and Secretly Living TogetherVanderpump Rules alums Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz addressed rumors that they’re dating and secretly living together. For many seasons, Tom was in a relationship with his now-ex-wife Katie Maloney, who’s no longer close with Lala.

In recent weeks, Lala and Tom have recorded podcasts together, as fans speculate that sparks are flying. Around the same time, a rumor surfaced that the former co-stars are secretly dating and even sharing a home.

On the July 1 episode of Tom’s Detox Retox podcast, he and Lala addressed rumors that they’re secretly together.

“If it’s on the internet, it’s true, right?” joked Tom, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram.

“What the f**k is going on?” asked Lala. “And they chose a photo of me pregnant, so it looks like I’m also carrying your baby.”

Tom added, “I woke up today, the first thing I see from my good dear friend, Jesus, who you’ve met, [is] a text, he’s like … what’s up with you and Lala? And then he sent me a screenshot of this [rumor]. And then I got another text from somebody else, another article, rumors abound today that we’re dating.”

“I won’t even lie, Schwartz,” said Lala. “Since the podcast that you did, my podcast, I’ve had some dreams. And I wake up [like], what the fuck?”

“No,” Tom responded.

“What’s happening here?” asked Lala.

Lala said she hasn’t thought about men in a “romantic way” in a “very long time.”

“I love that about you,” said Tom. “It’s empowering. It’s inspiring for all the people out there who feel, I don’t know, some sort of existential dread about not having found their twin flame or soulmate, and they have angst about it. You guys, be like Lala.”

“I feel like it’ll come one day when it’s supposed to,” Lala explained. “A lot of people think that it’s weird. A lot of people ask me, like, ‘Are you dating?’ And when I say no, they go, ‘Oh, you’ll be able to put yourself out there someday.’ I’m like, what?”

“I don’t need your pity,” Schwartz agreed.

Last year, Lala, Tom, and the entire cast of season 11 were fired from Vanderpump Rules.
