“They Turned on Me Like Strangers” — Lisa Vanderpump Recalls Her Angriest RHOBH Moment, Losing Her ‘Whole Family,’ and the Day She Threw Kyle Out of Her Home

Lisa Vanderpump is looking back at her rage-filled moments on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and her season nine falling out with Kyle Richards.

Lisa Vanderpump on What Scene Made Her the "Maddest" on RHOBH, If She Regrets Kicking Kyle Out of Home, and Losing Her "Whole Family," Plus Talks Kids & Grandkids, and How Younger Co-Stars Shocked Her

While also discussing the deaths she’s experienced in recent years, revealing why she’s so proud of her children, Pandora Sabo, 39, and Max Vanderpump, 33, and gushing over her grandkids, three-year-old Teddy and three-month-old Greyson, Lisa, 64, shared what shocked her most about her younger co-stars and reflected on the last time she felt rage.

“When Housewives say something about me that’s not true, grrr, on Housewives, when you’re trying to say, ‘Hold on a second, listen to me,’ and nobody listens,” Lisa explained during a May 8 interview with PEOPLE. “When I’ve been the maddest … I think when I told Kyle to get [the f*ck] out of my house.”

As she looked back at the final moments of her friendship with Kyle, 56, Lisa confirmed she had no regrets.

“After years of doing reality, you just gotta live your life. You gotta be authentic, and was I authentically pissed off? Yes, I was. Did I show it? Yes, I did. No regrets,” she declared.

Moving on to the topic of grief, Lisa detailed the losses she’s experienced within her family.

“I’ve had a lot of sadness in my life over the last few years, losing my brother to suicide and then my mother within a year, then little Giggy, the love of our life. And then recently, my father,” she stated. “I still think of my brother every day … because when you grow up next to somebody, alongside them, that’s just very hard to process the fact that you’ll never see them again when their life was cut short so tragically … My whole family is gone.”

According to Lisa, she often withdraws when she’s sad.

“I need time to just take a moment. I have a very busy life, but sometimes you need to look after yourself first before you deal with everything else,” she reasoned.

As for her kids, Lisa said she loved the fact that they didn’t start at the top.

“They started at the bottom. Max started in the restaurant business washing dishes. Pandora’s got her own company. I’m that kind of mother. You’ve got to do the hard work to succeed,” she shared.

In addition to taking joy in her children, Lisa is also loving life as a grandmother.

“When my daughter’s given birth, I’ve been literally right outside the door waiting for that baby to come out … what a gift,” she gushed. “I’m a slave to these children. I will do anything they want, whenever they want, whatever they want. Absolutely. I am absolutely smitten.”

As a scene from Vanderpump Villa season two featured a hookup amongst her castmates, Lisa admitted to being taken aback by their sexual antics.

“I think I’m always shocked by how quickly young people can get together and be doing the naughty business when they’ve only just met,” she revealed. “I do think things move very quickly these days, and people are much more open-minded than they were … maybe I’m a little bit old-fashioned.”

Then, noting that she got married to Ken Todd, 79, after three months, and was engaged after six weeks, Lisa asked, “[But] who am I to talk?”

Vanderpump Villa season two is currently streaming on Hulu.
