LOVE Island fans have been left shocked after Lauren was savagely dumped from the villa tonight.
After the arrival of bombshell Angel, Ty received a text telling him he’d been automatically coupled up with the newest Islander.
The twist unfolded during the Couple of Sorts game, where the Islanders were asked to predict which three boys Angel would find most attractive.
Conor was placed third, Harry second, and Ty was voted her top choice.
Ty then received a text informing him he had been automatically coupled up with Angel.
As a result, Lauren – who had previously been coupled up with Ty – was left single and was immediately sent a text telling her she had been dumped from the villa.
The decision left the other Islanders shocked.
Harrison, who had recently admitted to still having feelings for Lauren after being dumped by his partner Toni, was particularly emotional.
He asked Lauren if she would be open to rekindling their relationship, to which she said yes.
Both broke down in tears during their final conversation.
Lauren then told Harrison: “If you leave with me, that’ll tell me everything I need to know.”
Harrison appeared unsure, but later decided to follow through with her request.
Lauren and Harrison had formed a connection during Casa Amor.
Before the twist, Harrison had also been involved with Toni and briefly explored a relationship with Helena.
Toni, who had recoupled with newcomer Cach, ultimately chose to return to Harrison, leaving both Cach and Lauren upset.
Stunned fans took to social media to react to the brutal moment.
One wrote: "Lmfaooooo nah they did Lauren dirty."
Another said: "LAUREN BEING DUMPED THAT QUICKLY IS CRAZYYY."
A third added: "THE PRODUCERS ARE RUDEEEE LMAOOOO."
The Sun had previously revealed Harrison would leave the villa.
A source said: "It's been a momentous few days for Harrison and ultimately he has decided to quit.
"He worked through everything with the ITV duty of care team and is making his way home to his family now."
The day before, Harrison got emotional after seeing the devastation he was causing.
Controversially, he made a plea to Toni ahead of the latest recoupling to pick him, despite having had sex with Lauren the night before.
Toni's decision to choose him blindsided their exes Cach Mercer and Lauren, with both left sobbing after being embarrassed in front of their friends.
Earlier that day, she'd told Lauren she was done with Harrison.
Sitting by the fire pit, she said: “He's all yours, girlfriend.
"I'm removing myself from this. This is getting f**king ridiculous and it's making me nasty.
“He's lying to both of us. I can't keep doing this.”
"Everyone was so shocked and people were crying and hugging him.
