Andy Cohen is still mourning Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo’s recent breakup, but he’s also looking at a silver lining to the situation.
On the February 10 episode of his Sirius XM show “Andy Cohen Live,” the Bravo host said everyone was “rooting” for the two to make it. “The sad thing about this breakup and hearing everyone talk about it is everyone was so into them as a couple,” Cohen told his co-host John Hill. “A lot of times with a breakup you choose a side… there’s no side to root for because you rooted for both of them so much.”
Cohen also addressed Conover’s recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” and noted that the “Southern Charm” star credited DeSorbo for helping him become the man he is today.
“He also said at the beginning and at the end, and he keeps trying to make it clear and keeps repeating that she made him a better person,” Cohen shared. “And the reason that he is thriving professionally right now and is working on his drinking, etc. is because of her. So it was very clear looking at him that there was some kind of, like he really had a serious glow-up.”
Cohen first broke his silence about the end of the couple’s three-year relationship on the January 6 episode of “Andy Cohen Live.”
“They’re both in the middle of an incredible amount of success. Both of them,” Cohen said of the two Bravo stars. “He just opened a restaurant in Charleston. He’s got this business. He’s got a store in Nashville and a place in Charleston,” Cohen said of Conover. “And then she is absolutely, like murdering it, killing it. Live tour, live,” he added of DeSorbo’s successful Giggly Squad tour.
Craig Conover Said He is a Better Person After Meeting Paige
Conover and DeSorbo met on the Bravo spinoff “Winter House” and began dating in 2021. Their long-distance relationship was serious and they talked about a future with marriage and kids. In December 2024, DeSorbo announced her split from Conover on an episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast. She claimed the breakup was mutual.
During his appearance on WWHL, Conover stated that the breakup was not a mutual decision. “I’m just working through it,” Conover said, before admitting he went through other stages of grief that included anger.
“Now I’m kind of like getting excited for the future as best as I can,” he said, before praising DeSorbo for helping him become a better person.
“Look, to her credit…I’ve said I’m a better version of myself today than I was when we first started to date,” he shared. “And I didn’t go back to drinking a ton through the breakup, so I’ve just had to kind of feel it.”

When DeSorbo announced the breakup on “Giggly Squad,” her co-host Hannah Berner pointed out that Conover was the first guy who really “lifted” her up and was “proud” of her accomplishments.
“He got you, he was so proud of you for what you were accomplishing on TV and off TV, and you hadn’t had a guy support you like that. He’s a huge reason for who you are in the last couple of years becoming who you are,” Berner told DeSorbo.
DeSorbo agreed that her relationship with Conover was different and that he did help her become the woman she is today. “He truly helped me grow so much in these past three years,” DeSorbo said. “Like, I am a different person than when I started dating him. Like, I truly do feel more mature, more confident, all of these things. And that’s definitely attributed to him.”
