Jesse Lally offered an unexpected update on his status with his estranged wife, Michelle Saniei, on Tuesday night’s Watch What Happens Live.
After the two of them went to war on the latest episode of The Valley, with Michelle, 36, tossing a drink in Jesse’s face, Jesse, 44, spoke of his and Michelle’s current dynamic, ongoing divorce, and his “hooker” diss while also reacting to Michelle’s suggestion that he spent all their money, revealing if he believes she cheated, and more.
“At that moment, I think she had a comparison. I don’t think [Jax Taylor] and I are similar at all,” Jesse stated on the May 13 episode of WWHL after being asked about Michelle saying he was worse than Jax, 45.
As for whose relationship is in a better place, between his and Michelle’s and Jax and Brittany Cartwright‘s, Jesse revealed he and Michelle “are in a really good place right now.”
“And you’ll see that unfold throughout season two,” he teased.
He also shared three things he misses about their marriage.
“I miss coffee in the mornings with Isabella and Michelle, I miss those amazing trips we took together, and I miss actually working together on a daily basis,” he admitted.
He then shared a divorce update, noting, “We are finally very, very close. I think we came to an agreement the other day … I threw my hands up and said, ‘Enough is enough. Let’s just move on with our lives.’ So I think we’re there.”
Looking back at his “hooker” claim on The Valley, Jesse confessed to making a mistake.
“It was a huge, huge mistake. It was, you know, one of those moments where you’re just triggered and reactive and that reactivity is something that happened all throughout season one, something I was working on, and honestly, it was a year ago and just seeing that back, I’m like, ‘God, the amount of work I’ve tried to do since that moment,’ because I’m wildly ashamed of it and one day I’m gonna have to explain those comments to my daughter,” he reflected.
While Jesse and Michelle are in a good place today, he didn’t appreciate the comment she made in regard to him supposedly blowing their “millions.”
“That is not true. I do like to spend money, but I like to spend [it] on memories, and our family’s done a lot of amazing things that Isabella will remember for the rest of her life,” he declared. “And to be honest, I don’t have enough storage to spend all that money on wine, so I think she needs to dial that in a little bit.”
He also denied that he wouldn’t let Michelle touch him if he were wearing white.
“That is not true, no,” he stated.
During a game, he answered even more questions about Michelle, including whether he truly felt that she cheated on him with Aaron Nosler.
“Physically, I do not believe that they had a relationship. Emotionally? 100 percent,” he confirmed. “She [also] did not have a boyfriend for a year. She had a situation where she cheated on me a year before we separated, and she admitted to that.”
As for the billionaire rumor and Michelle’s ties to Quentin Tarantino, 62, Jesse said he previously approached Michelle with the rumor about the billionaire and noted that Michelle had met the famous director at the pool at Chateau Marmont.
“She met him when she was at the pool at Chateau with some friends, and then we ran into him the following weekend with Isabella, [and] continued to run into him. So they were friendly. We talked a lot about real estate. And it was completely platonic,” he clarified.
Moving on to Danny Booko, 41, and Nia Sanchez-Booko, 35, Jesse shared whether the couple pretends that everything is perfect.
“I think that they have a very good relationship, a very good brand, and they want to kind of keep their dirty laundry under the roof,” he described.
He then noted that Michelle talked the most trash about Kristen Doute, 42, when they were married and named Jax as the cast member with the most small d*ck energy.
“I would probably have to go with Jax,” he shared.
Also on the live broadcast, after defending his controversial, saggy underwear, saying they came in a Calvin Klein three-pack and confirming he’s “upgraded since,” Jesse revealed why he received a payment from a “gay guy” and shared that it was less than $1,500.
“It was my birthday, and he’s one of my oldest friends. Does it matter if he’s gay, straight, or somewhere in between?” he wondered. “[If he was sending me money because I was] a hooker, then that would be a different conversation … It was nothing.”
Later on Tuesday, while appearing on the WWHL: After Show, Jesse was asked how his girlfriend, Lacy Nicole, reacted to Scheana Shay‘s claim that she’d cheated on him with “the guy from Baywatch.”
“It was like a year and a half ago, and I would say that’s uh, if you want to hear the answer, you probably should call her directly. That’s all I have to say about that,” he answered.
Then, when Andy asked if Lacy “didn’t like it,” Jesse said, “Well, who would?”
Jesse also shared that he’d received a message from David Hasselhoff, 72, who noted that he’d reached out to Andy and gotten no response.
“Well, tell him to send something interesting … and I’ll respond,” Andy replied.
The Valley season two airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
