Kristen Doute and Janet Caperna reflected on their pregnancy drama after last week’s premiere of The Valley season two.

After butting heads on the episode, with Kristen, 42, signaling negative things Janet, 34, said about her pregnancy and Janet calling out Zack Wickham‘s alleged claim about not caring if she miscarried, Kristen and Janet spoke of where they stand today. Plus, Zack threw shade at Janet, and other members of the cast weighed in on his drunken behavior.

“For Janet to apologize to me and lead it with an insult about one of my very best friends, it was already over before it started,” Kristen admitted on the April 15 episode of The Valley: After Show.

Looking back at Zack’s past rant against Janet and her past pregnancy, and noting that he has since “apologized to everyone” for it, Kristen described Zack as “very colorful with his words when he’s drunk and pissed.”

“It’s not that I support those words being said, but they’re basically mortal enemies, what the f*ck do you think your enemy’s gonna say about you?” she asked. “I don’t know if it actually bothered Janet the way Janet says it does, or [if] it was just so convenient for her to weaponize it to get people to hate Zack.”

Kristen went on to say that when it comes to Janet, she feels superior to her because she finds her to be “cruel or mean for no reason.”

“I’m so much better than her … [And] I do not trust her an ounce,” she added.

Meanwhile, after admitting that her apology to Kristen wasn’t “perfect,” Janet insisted she was “genuine” as she explained holding Kristen accountable for Zack’s antics against her.

“I said the things I needed to say,” Janet shared. “I guess I roped Kristen in with it because right after it happened, she’s posting all this positive stuff publicly about Zack … and I’m like, you know what he said and did … [and] you’re standing by this guy.”

Janet then said that the ball is in Kristen’s court as she suspected she’d start hearing from her former friend “when she has something to gain from me.”

As for Zack, he compared Janet to Jax Taylor, 45, as he looked back at the reaction she had to his supposed claims about her pregnancy.

“She’s actually very like Jax. She takes something small or off-handed or hyperbole or whatever and runs with it,” he explained. “And honestly, I don’t remember anything … I was in this emotional state that everybody should’ve understood, and it should never even gotten back to her.”

“[But] we’re here and I’ve taken full responsibility because that’s not my character and I don’t condone it,” he added.

Also on the After ShowBrittany Cartwright, 36, Lala Kent, 34, Michelle Saniei, 36, and Scheana Shay, 39, spoke of their own relationships with Zack, with each expressing concern over what their castmate could be capable of.

“After that happened last season, I didn’t talk to Zack for like four months because I couldn’t believe the stuff that he said, and it really disappointed me,” Brittany, who has been friends with Zack since college, admitted. “He can be the funniest, best person ever, and then switch, and I hate that.”

Lala also confessed to being fearful of what could “come out of [Zack’s] mouth.”

“If he were to pull that sh*t on me, I’d be catching a case … It gets my blood boiling just thinking about it … Every time I’ve been around him, but I always keep my distance because I’m like, the things you say, I don’t want to be on the receiving end of,” she noted.

Then, after Michelle confirmed she “took a step back” from Zack after season one due to concerns over what he might say when he’s “hammered,” Scheana revealed the two of them are “cordial” and nothing more.

“We can have fun … I could never be as close to him as I used to be … That type of behavior that I’ve seen over the last several years, you can’t trust it,” she reasoned.

The Valley season two airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
