The Salary of Gina Kirschenheiter’s Husband Matt Kirschenheiter is Revealed as RHOC Star is Awarded $10K Monthly Support, Plus Custody Details as Gina Blames Affair for Divorce

Gina Kirschenheiter and her former husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, are officially divorced. Days after their split was made final, details regarding their financial and custody arrangements have been revealed. This news comes as Gina is blaming an affair for ending her marriage.

Following an emotional court hearing in which the Real Housewives of Orange County star reportedly broke down as her marriage to Matt came to an end, court documents have revealed Gina will be getting nearly $10,000 from Matt each month in support. The documents also explained their custody agreement for their three kids, seven-year-old Nicholas, five-year-old Sienna, and four-year-old Luca.

On August 20, The Blast shared details of the new court documents, explaining that while Gina and Matt will share legal custody of their children, Gina has been granted with primary physical custody and Matt is expected to have time with the kids on “some weekends.”

Matt will pay Gina $4,500 per month in child support and $5,127 a month in spousal support, which totals $9,627. According to the report, this amount was based on Matt’s salary and commissions of $421,000 per year.

As they embark on their new agreement, Gina and Matt will be attending one co-parenting class per month, and they’re expected to refrain from talking badly about the other in front of their children. They have also been advised against introducing their potential future partners to the kids until the relationship is serious, or until they’re given approval by their ex.

As part of their divorce settlement, Gina is allowed to keep her jewelry and clothes, and she will also retain her Chrysler Town and Country. As for Matt, he’s holding onto all his personal belongings and a 2015 Lexus.

This news comes as Gina dropped a bombshell on the latest episode of the RHOC, when she blamed an affair her husband allegedly had with another woman for her split from him.

“With Matt, we moved here and Luca was like four months old, and he had an affair,” said Gina to her co-star Emily Simpson. “We tried to work through it the best we could. We’re in therapy. It opened our eyes to other problems in the relationship. And so, when I filed for divorce and then meeting everybody going forward, for my kids’ sake, I just felt like it wasn’t necessary to share that. I didn’t want to take that from my kids.”

Gina filed for divorce from Matt in April 2018 after nearly eight years of marriage and listed their separation date as March 3, 2018. A short time later, Matt requested joint custody of their children.

Although Gina and Matt attempted to reconcile earlier this year, their plans for a future reunion came to an abrupt halt in June when Matt was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

Following the arrest, Gina was granted a restraining order against Matt, which remains in effect. She and Matt also made a temporary custody deal for their kids, which required Matt to see his children only under the supervision of a family member.
