The Golden Bachelorette star Chock Chapple wished his new fiancée Joan Vassos a happy birthday and added a surprising message about their future in the caption of his post. Chock, who’s been getting a lot of shade from Bachelor Nation after his appearance on The Golden Bachelorette season 1, has been doing a decent job keeping his followers up to date on his relationship with Joan. After the couple met and got engaged during the season, the pair have been keeping Bachelor Nation up to date through social media about what’s been happening in their, even with some viewer backlash.
In a recent Instagram post, Chock wished Joan a happy birthday with a heartfelt caption and a look at their lives together in a reel full of photos and videos from the past few months. “Joan, you make my life complete,” he shared, before revealing that the couple’s nearly prepared for their move to New York City. “Here’s to another trip around the sun!!! NYC here we come,” Chock shared. While the pair have been keeping mum about their upcoming move, it appears things could be happening faster than Bachelor Nation realized. The couple’s move could be any time now.
Although it’s been clear that Joan and Chock are interested in moving to New York City throughout the post-season, their mention of moving to the Big Apple during The Golden Bachelorette season 1 finale was reminiscent of a lot of Bachelor couples. Typically, Bachelor couples share some big ideas about their futures that don’t always come to fruition, which made Bachelor Nation skeptical when it was revealed that the Golden pair were actually pursuing real estate in New York City. Despite some backlash from viewers, Joan and Chock have appeared to be excited about their next steps, including New York.
Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
Chock’s mention of moving to New York this year in his birthday message to Joan was a surprise even though the couple has been talking about their relocation. Even though many are expecting them to move to New York City in the future, it’s been something that’s felt like it’s more on hold than happening in the current moment. Joan and Chock’s move being mentioned in his birthday post to her makes it clear that the pair are moving toward their move quickly. With the pair potentially settling on real estate, Joan and Chock could be New Yorkers soon.
After The Golden Bachelorette, Joan and Chock were both committed to moving to New York City, which some took with a grain of salt, but others felt was a serious idea. Joan and Chock heading to the Big Apple could be a great move for the pair, especially because it’s more neutral territory. While Joan is originally from Maryland, Chock is from Kansas, and both of them have been open about the fact that it’s been difficult to settle in one place while ignoring the other. Moving to more neutral ground may be great for The Golden Bachelorette couple.
