A LOVE Island feud has exploded as a tense game turned sour and Islanders hit out at their rivals.
In an upcoming episode after Meet The Parents, the Islanders play the game ‘couple goals’ with Meg and Dejon as hosts.
It sees the pair read out questions which the Islanders will all answer in their couples as they select which couple they believe it applies to most.
When the Islanders are asked the question, “Which couple would you not want to go on a city break with?” Blu and Helena choose Harry and Shakira.
Blu brazenly says: “We went with Harry and Shakira. I think we all know the reason why - Harry might want to wife swap again.”
To which Harry replies: “You’re better than that.”
But that’s not all, as the Islanders are then asked which couple is the most fake.
Harry and Shakira choose Blu and Helena. When giving their reasons, Helena interjects, “That’s a cop out mate.”
An unhappy Harry says: “Hold on. Blu - after the conversation we had this morning and for you to say you don’t want to go on a break because I’m going to wife swap, I think it is extremely fake.”
Blu says: “You’ve done it five times.”
Things get more hostile when Toni and Cach answer, as Toni says: “We’ve gone with Meg and Dejon. I feel like every time there is an argument between us you love to throw out ‘I thought we were friends’ - I feel like there have been many situations where you two have not been friends to me.”
Meg and Dejon choose Shakira and Harry, and Meg says: “I feel like Shakira, you’ve made some very hurtful comments to me that we’re not very nice and I’ve always been there for you.”
Shakira is left less than impressed and says to Harry: “The gloves are off now” as tensions flare, yet again, between the girls.
The feud between the girls comes right after the show was branded a "fix" after the girls appeared to settle the ongoing divide that has plagued their time in the villa.
Throughout the series, the villa girls have been divided with two clear friendship groups emerging over the course of the ITV2 programme.
On one side have been Shakira, Toni and Yasmin who have been fiercely loyal to one another and stood by each other in times of need whilst Meg and Helena, as well as Megan, have made up the other half of the main villa divide.
The two groups have failed to see eye-to-eye until they appeared to put their difference aside in an unexpected moment on the programme.
Just days after a huge row about the divide ensued during the show's explosive Grafties, the ladies decided to hug it out and put an apparent end to the bubbling feud between them.
But with less than a week to go until someone is crowned Love Island champion, fans have insisted that the moment was a product-led decision amid ongoing speculation that show bosses want Meg and Helena to come across better.
Fans have insinuated the move was a calculated way for Meg to appear friendlier after she was called out by her co-stars for the way she had made them feel throughout the series.
Writing on X, formerly Twitter, after the scenes were aired, one viewer said: "It’s the producers fault, they have protected Helena/Meg, producers have been watching online comments & need to fix it."
A second added: "It's so fake they are not even touching Shakira in the hug."
Someone else then posted: "Producers want Meg to win so much they made her promise to be more friendly?"
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
