The drama off-camera may have just eclipsed the drama on-screen.
Season 29 of The Bachelor has been filled with tears, twists, and televised romance — but now, one of its standout contestants is pulling back the curtain on what she claims was really happening behind the scenes. Litia Garr, the bold and outspoken suitor known for her no-nonsense commentary and strong connection with leading man Grant Ellis, is making explosive allegations about the Bachelor star's off-camera behavior during filming.
In a candid interview on the Reality Revealed podcast released this week, Litia didn’t hold back. “It wasn’t just one or two,” she said, referring to Grant’s alleged sexual encounters with other women on set. “It was multiple. And it wasn’t always on the fantasy suites either.”
While the show has long been known for its tradition of overnight dates in the later stages of the competition, Garr’s accusations suggest that Grant’s physical relationships with contestants may have begun far earlier — and with far more than just the final few women.
Litia, 27, said she decided to come forward after watching the season unfold and feeling that fans were being presented with a “curated” version of events. “We’re told this is about love, and maybe it is for some people. But there was a lot going on that the cameras didn’t catch — or didn’t show.”
She claimed that several contestants confided in her during filming about intimate moments with Grant, and that whispers of hookups were “common knowledge” among the cast. “You’d hear doors closing late at night, or someone would disappear from the cocktail party for 20 minutes. At first, you try to give the benefit of the doubt — maybe it’s just a conversation. But then the pattern kept repeating.”
While The Bachelor has occasionally hinted at off-screen intimacy in the past, Litia’s claims mark one of the few times a contestant has openly accused the lead of having sex with multiple women during the actual filming of the show — outside of the traditional overnight dates.
As of publication, Grant Ellis has not responded publicly to the accusations. ABC and Warner Bros., which co-produce the hit dating series, have also declined to comment.
Grant, a 31-year-old entrepreneur from Austin, Texas, quickly became a fan favorite for his charming smile, “southern gentleman” vibe, and thoughtful interactions with the women vying for his heart. But Litia says that what fans saw isn’t the full picture. “He’s charismatic, no doubt. That’s what made this all the more confusing. He knew how to make each of us feel special, and for a while, I really believed I was the one.”
Social media has been ablaze since the podcast dropped, with fans taking sides and dissecting every moment from the season for hidden clues. “This explains a lot about why some of the women were crying out of nowhere,” one fan tweeted. Others have questioned the ethics of the show, asking whether production turned a blind eye.
One Reddit user wrote, “If this is true, the whole format needs a rethink. It’s supposed to be about emotional connection first — but this sounds like it was just chaos.”
Litia, who made it to the final five before being eliminated, says she’s not coming forward out of spite. “I’m not bitter. I’m disappointed,” she clarified. “I wanted to believe in the process. I wanted to believe in him. But when someone is telling you they see a future with you while allegedly sleeping with multiple other women, that’s not love — that’s manipulation.”
She added that her experience on the show taught her a lot about resilience and the importance of trusting her instincts. “The hardest part was doubting myself. But now, I know my worth. I know what I won’t tolerate again.”
While Litia may not have found lasting love on The Bachelor, her courage in speaking out has made her a powerful voice in the franchise’s ongoing evolution.
“I’m not here to take anyone down,” she said. “But I do think it’s time people know the truth.”
