The Bachelor's Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa Reveal Where They Hope to Tie the Knot

Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa have wedding bells on the brain!

The Bachelor couple — who fell in love during the 29th season of the reality dating series — shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt that while they haven’t solidified any definite plans as of yet for their upcoming nuptials, they have been brainstorming ideas for the big day. 

Pasquarosa in particular revealed that she went down to Florida to help her cousin go “wedding dress shopping,” and noted that her cousin “picked out a really gorgeous dress.” This prompted Pitt to ask her if there were any “silhouettes” she liked or if the experience helped her come up with ideas of what she wanted to wear.

“I can't wait to go on the hunt for mine,” Pasquarosa said. “Honestly, I just love everything. [My cousin] tried on all the different styles, and I was like, ‘That's gorgeous. And, Oh My God, that's so beautiful. And, wow.’ ” 

“[But] I think I need to find out the exact venue, so that I can have something to go off of because I could, like, do anything,” she explained.

Pitt chimed in that she needed to consider the “weather” too, as she said she originally envisioned herself wearing “a long sleeve wedding dress,” but then got married in Charleston, S.C. so that was “just obviously not gonna work out.” 

Pasquarosa then noted that she had a location in mind when it came to their ceremony, saying, “I really hope that we [get] married in Italy.” 

“By the water,” she added. “So, I feel like that is you know, I just kinda [have got to] hone in on that, but we are going to Italy.” 

“We're gonna make it happen,” Ellis shared of their Italian wedding plans. “We're [gonna] make it happen for sure.” 

Pasquarosa said they were planning to visit Capri and Ischia — two islands off the coast of Naples in the southern part of Italy — during the “first week of July.” She shared that it was “so exciting” to finally be able to visit the country. 

The couple, who got engaged in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on the Bachelor finale, which aired in March, opened up about their relationship to PEOPLE and shared that there was a “spark” from the beginning.

“You could tell there was a bit of an instant spark,” Pasquarosa said. “I think it was in his eye contact and his body language when I got out… He was a lot taller and a lot more handsome in person.”

The happy couple also revealed that while they were in “no rush” to get married, they have no doubts they’ve found the right spouse for them. “I was looking for somebody with compassion and somebody with character, and I found that,” the Bachelor said.

Ellis added that he found his fiancée’s heart to be her defining quality, explaining, “I have no doubt in my mind that she's an amazing person, that she's going to make an amazing wife, and I'm excited. I think we understand each other to our core.”
