An engagement is around the corner on “The Bachelor,” but there’s just one problem: Grant Ellis is having trouble deciding which woman will be his future wife.
In an exclusive clip from Monday’s finale shared with TheWrap, Ellis ponders his choice between his final two women — Litia Garr and Juliana Pasquarosa — a decision that has caused some strain on the leading man, with Ellis saying “for me to not know what I’m going to do, I’m feeling very overwhelmed.”
Luckily Ellis’ father comes into provide some advice for his son, saying he knows it’s a “big decision” and encouraging him to “go with [his] heart.”
“I am a little nervous about letting somebody down, especially when the connection is so, so strong,” Ellis said in the clip.
“But somebody’s going to be hurt … you know, life goes on,” Ellis’ dad, Robert, responded. “Son, you went through this for a reason, I know you’re going to make the right decision.”
The process brought Ellis’ father to tears as he doted on his son in a talking head. “I’m fortunate to have a son like Grant,” he said. “Anybody he ends up with — who ends up with him — has got a good catch.”

Ellis’ mother and father will meet both Garr and Pasquarosa during the finale of “The Bachelor,” which marks the first time Ellis’ parents have been in the same room in years.
During last week’s fantasy suites episode, Ellis had overnight dates with both Garr and Pasquarosa as well as Zoe McGrady, who he sent home prior to the finale. All three women, as well as Dina Lupancu, went to hometown dates with Ellis the week beforehand.
