The RHONJ mom welcomed her daughter back with this homecooked meal.
Gabriella Giudice knows there’s nothing quite like a homecooked meal. Especially one that’s prepared by a best-selling cookbook author.
Less than two months into her college sophomore year, The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter left the University of Michigan for fall break and returned to her family's Garden State home. Teresa Giudice shared Gabriella’s arrival in a series of Instagram Stories, saying her daughter had a special request upon her homecoming.
Teresa shares one of Gabriella's favorite homecooked meals
“Gabriella’s home so I made tagliatelle with peas and ham,” the Jersey mom said while showcasing the pasta. “That’s what she requested.”
Teresa, who has released multiple Fabulicious! cookbooks since 2010, has referred to her tagliatelle pasta as the “most amazing, delicious dish.” She spoke about her recipe in a 2021 interview with Glamour magazine, saying it was a longtime family staple.
“My mom made it for me, my brother, and my dad growing up,” she revealed. “It’s one of my favorite recipes, and my daughters love it. Matter of fact, I’m going to make it for them this week because I haven’t made it in a little bit. They really love when I make this recipe. I’ll make a lot of it, and then they eat it the next day for leftovers. They love it.”
Inside Teresa and Milania Giudice's cooking sessions
But Gabriella wasn’t the only Giudice daughter craving Teresa’s cooking. After returning home from college last month, Milania Giudice took fans inside her and her mother’s grocery store run. The University of Tampa freshman revealed they were shopping for plum tomatoes, thin-sliced steak, and olive oil — key ingredients for Teresa’s steak pizzaiola.
“Every time I come home and want a homecooked meal, it’s steak pizzaiola,” Milania said in a September 27 TikTok. “I love steak pizzaiola.”
The mother and daughter returned to the store several days later to pick up red beans and broth for Milania’s other favorite dish, pasta e fagioli.
“This is really easy to make,” she said in a September 29 TikTok. “I love pasta e fagioli, I love eating it when I’m home, it’s the best.”
The Giudices celebrate Gabriella's 20th birthday
Although they arrived weeks apart, Milania and Gabriella were able to spend time together in New Jersey. They — along with their other sisters Gia and Audriana Giudice — enjoyed an afternoon at the pumpkin patch and later celebrated Gabriella’s 20th birthday. Teresa shared the latter occasion on Instagram, posting photos of all her girls around Gabriella’s gorgeous cake.
“Happy Birthday Gabriella!” Teresa captioned the post. "We Love you very much.”
