One thing about Teresa Giudice — she’s going to remind you that she’s a three-time New York Times Best-Selling author thanks to her cookbooks She’s written four, but despite her culinary legacy, the House of Villains cast didn’t respect her cooking skills.
At the beginning of Season 2, Teresa tried to win over her fellow villains by cooking them a big, juicy Italian dinner. That wound up being a bad idea because when dinner was served, nobody wanted to eat it.
Some said it was too salty. Others called it flat-out nasty, but in the true spirit of a New Jersey Housewife, Teresa is getting the last word on this. During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she responded to the criticism and claimed that the whole thing was one big setup.
Teresa Giudice blames it on the Gorgas meat
Andy Cohen asked Teresa about the House of Villains moment when the entire cast shaded her cooking. Teresa, who is planning on opening an Italian restaurant, was quick to defend herself.
“They set me up,” Teresa claimed. “The show set me up. They gave me brisket.”
According to the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, she thought she’d be making a “beef roast” in House of Villains Season 2, Episode 2. When the producers gave her brisket, she was completely out of her element. Apparently, there weren’t any brisket recipes in those four cookbooks of hers.
“I’ve never cooked brisket in my life,” Teresa admitted. “I didn’t know brisket, you’re supposed to smoke that. It takes hours and hours to cook.”
So, maybe the biggest villain in the house was the producer who set up Teresa with the wrong kind of meat? Either way, Teresa’s cooking would never be enough to win over these villains. With $200,000 on the line, it’s going to take more than beef.
