Teresa Giudice Reacts to Ex-Husband Joe’s New Boxing Career-quang

Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Joe and Teresa Giudice aren’t married to each other anymore, but they share a long history, as well as four “dorters.” Tre will always remain in his (boxing) corner for the sake of their girls.

These days, Joe’s down to his fighting weight and is looking very fit. He’s currently training for a celebrity boxing match against actor Antonio Sabato Jr.

The match will take place in the Bahamas, where Joe moved after he was deported from the U.S. Teresa and her second husband, Luis (“Louie”) Ruelas, just might be in the crowd supporting him.

Battle in the Bahamas

On the August 21 episode of her podcast, Turning the Tables by Teresa Giudice, Tre mentioned her ex’s upcoming December 7 fight in Nassau.

“Oh yeah, I’ve been promoting it for him,” she shared. “It’s so crazy.”

Apparently, the celebrity boxing match was originally planned before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, but it was canceled. But now Joe’s back in fighting shape, and he’s taking on Sabato Jr.

“I’m glad he’s doing it again,” Teresa said. She also confirmed that their four daughters (Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana) are “definitely going” to their dad’s boxing match.

“I don’t know if Louie and I are gonna go,” she added. “We’ll see as the time comes around. [But the girls will] definitely be there.”

A conscious decision to get along

Back in 2014, both Joe and Teresa pled guilty and ended up serving time in jail for bank, mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud. After his release from jail, Joe was deported back to Italy, which is where he was born. He came to the U.S. with his parents when he was just a year old and never bothered to become a citizen. He and Tre divorced in 2020.

But the former couple remained on good terms for the sake of their girls. Teresa revealed on her podcast that they made a conscious decision to only speak positively about one another in front of their daughters.

“I’m all about my kids, [and] so is Joe,” the OG of the RHONJ said. “If I fight with my ex, or I hurt my ex, or my ex hurts me, who’s it going to hurt? It’s gonna hurt the kids, so I’m not about that.”

“It makes my kids happy [for the exes to get along], and that’s all Joe and I care about is making the kids happy,” she continued. “We put four kids on this earth, and we want the best for them … Whatever we do is gonna affect them.”

Louie, Teresa’s husband since 2022, also has a friendly relationship with her ex. When Joe announced his upcoming match on Instagram, Louie responded, “We will be there to support you.”
