RHONJ Star Teresa Giudice Opens Up about Not Preparing Luis for Housewives Fame and an Insider Talks the Smooth Non Traditional Reunion

Teresa Giudice has shared her life with fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey for well over a decade. Now, the star is opening up about wishing she had prepared her hubby, Luis Ruelas, for the fame that comes with being married to a reality star.

Additionally, an insider is sharing details about the recently filmed reunion replacement and how smoothly it went.

As fans of RHONJ know, Teresa married Luis in August of 2022. Despite the couple seeming to be happy, there has been much gossip about them. One of the rumors, which is being spread by Teresa’s co-star Margaret Josephs, suggests that Luis has spent much of Teresa’s money. Some people even point to Teresa doing shows like House of Villains because she needs the money due to his alleged excessive spending. She has denied the rumors and says he makes more than she does.

Teresa was recently at a Jill Zarin event in New York. While there, she dished to US Weekly about Luis being uncomfortable with fame. She said, “I feel bad for him. Poor guy had to go through people hurting him in my world. I’m sorry.”

Luis, who was with Teresa at the event, chimed in and said, “I didn’t do enough research on the show before I got on. I just led with my heart. Today is a day without any superficial people around us. So we’re good.”

In other RHONJ news, an insider says that the new reunion format went well and that there was no drama.

The insider had this to say to US Weekly, “Teresa and Melissa didn’t talk to each other or cross paths. There was no drama. It was just the ladies commenting on the episode on camera. It was only about the finale.”

As has been reported, the cast was split into two groups, with Dolores Catania going between both filming locations to provide commentary. Of course, many fans have pointed out how this doesn’t seem like the most entertaining way to conclude the season.

Andy Cohen has also said it’s time for a rebrand for RHONJ. This means the future of the show is uncertain, as the network may feel a pause is needed.
