The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently on a much-regretted pause. However, the cast is doing a solid job of keeping themselves in the news and making sure their names remain on fans’ lips. Recently, Teresa Giudice did just that by opening up about much of the lore behind the show. This includes her relationship with her brother, not watching the series, and how it impacted her parents. Plus, she’s revealing plans for her media future.
As everyone knows, Andy Cohen recently revealed that it will be quite a while before fans get news about RHONJ. Of course, this caused both Melissa Gorga and Dolores Catania to share their opinions, with the latter blaming her co-stars. This prompted Teresa to clap back over her claims of egos being in the way of the show returning.
Recently, Teresa sat down on the Turning the Tables podcast to spill all sorts of piping hot tea about not only RHONJ but also House of Villans.
One of the first highlights of the podcast came when Teresa spoke about Jackie Goldschneider. This is long after the revelation that Jackie was one of the women who spoke to Luis Ruelas‘s ex.
Teresa said, “I’m getting to know her like that’s the thing: you don’t get to know somebody on the show. It takes time, and like, the more you hang out with someone, that’s how you get to know them, so I would say you know a good friend. We’re getting to know each other.”
They then move on to talking about the issues Teresa had with Tiffany Pollard. Specifically, she talks about Tiffany apologizing for bringing up the rumors about Luis cheating. She said, “Tiffany ended up apologizing to me on the show. She apologized to me on the show, and then she apologized to Lou at the premiere party.”
She then goes on to explain how being on Housewives is different from Villains. According to Teresa, “There’s cameras everywhere. That’s what I’m saying there are cameras everywhere, so if I promised Victoria, they would have seen it, and they would have played it back.”
Teresa went on, “That’s the thing with Housewives of New New Jersey. There’s not cameras everywhere.” She then discusses the idea of watching old episodes of RHONJ and recapping them on the podcast. However, Teresa eventually shared that she didn’t watch the show early on.
Kim “D” DePaola, who was on the episode, then brings up a rumor that Teresa’s father hit Joe Gorga after he insulted her at the christening. However, Teresa says she has never heard that. Still, Kim insists that it’s true.
Teresa then recalls another reason she has issues with Joe and Melissa. She shared, “I don’t know if people really even heard everything that Jacqueline said. I mean, it’s like that they were hanging out. They were going to Jacqueline and Chris’ house every single night, telling them what was going on with my court case.”
She continued, “I was only telling my brother and Melissa everything that was going on, like if they came over for Sunday dinner. I would tell my parents like what we found out what was going on, but that’s because it’s my immediate family, and then Jac was getting mad at me that I wasn’t telling her, but I was because you’re not supposed to talk about your legal stuff.”
The infamous scene from one of the earlier reunions also came up with Danielle Staub bringing up Teresa not going to see her nephew.
Teresa recalls, “Remember when Danielle said to me that you didn’t go see your nephew? I know now the truth. Melissa was talking to Danielle, emailing her, and told Danielle that you didn’t go see the nephew.”
It’s at this part of the episode that they begin to talk about Melissa’s audition tape for RHONJ. Teresa hasn’t seen it, but Kim D says she’s heard that it’s disgraceful and that she auditioned by bashing Teresa, and she promised that she would go after her sister-in-law if she were to be hired.
The topic of Caroline Manzo then comes up. Teresa says. Specifically, Teresa blames her for the end of Ultimate Girls Trip and says she ruined it for everyone else.
When the topic of Caroline comes up, Jennifer Aydin reminds everyone that Caroline “sued Bravo” over claims Brandi Glanville allegedly sexually harassed her during filming.
“And now there’s no more ultimate girls trip,” added Teresa.
Elsewhere in the episode, Teresa says she feels she gets bad edits on the show, and she also revealed that she warned Luis about her brother, but he wanted to give Joe a chance anyway. Teresa also says that she would like to start a television show in the same vein as The View where she and a group of people give their opinions on various topics.
Fans can watch old episodes of RHONJ on Peacock.
