Teresa Giudice and Daughter Gia Accused of Selling Fake Handbags on TikTok, Plus RHONJ Star Claims She Turned Down Job in Deadpool Ad After Melissa Gorga Agreed to Appear

Teresa Giudice and her oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, are facing backlash after attempting to sell designer handbags on TikTok.

Following a number of occasions in which the 52-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star was called out for rocking fake designer duds, she and Gia, 23, took to social media in an attempt to convince their fans and followers to purchase used luxury bags.

“It’s gorgeous. It’s silver hardware,” Gia explained in their video, noting that the bag in question was “soft” as she read the details off of a card.

“It’s, like, soft like butter,” Teresa interjected as she showed off the bag.

“It’s not suede, but it feels like suede. It is lambskin,” Gia added. “It’s lightweight, soft. It can be scratched so you have to be a little careful with it, but it can be conditioned. It comes with an authenticity card and a care booklet.”

As they shared a clip of Teresa and Gia’s TikTok post, Your Moms Are Watching on Instagram included a past Saturday Night Live skit in which two comedians joked about expensive designer bags, mentioning “Herman’s” and “Louis Vitoon,” rather than Hermes and Louis Vuitton.

Following the sharing of the video, social media users weighed in, giving a nod to Teresa’s alleged past with fakes.

“I truly hope no one is buying those bags. Chances are they are fakes and they are profiting from fans that don’t know any better. We all know they love their fakes!” one person stated.

“I would never buy from them just because Teresa wears so much fake designer stuff. She needs to tread lightly because she is walking a fine line,” another agreed.

In other RHONJ news, Teresa recently shared that she turned down a potential cameo in an ad for Deadpool & Wolverine because her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, 45, had agreed to appear.

“Even if I get offered a job with my sister-in-law, I will not do it. I got offered a commercial for ‘Deadpool.’ And I refused it. And she accepted, I refused it,” Teresa revealed on the October 23 episode of Turning the Tables, via Heavy.

While Teresa was offered “a good payday” for the role, she ultimately refused to work with the wife of her brother, Joe Gorga, 50.

“I was like, ‘Absolutely not.’ Like, I’m not doing anything — so anybody out there listening, don’t even approach, like, the two of us doing something together because that ship sailed,” she explained.

After Teresa turned the cameo down, Real Housewives of Orange County stars Shannon Beador, 60, and Heather Dubrow, 55, signed on to appear in the ad.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on pause ahead of its 15th season.
