Teddi Mellencamp Unveils Jaw-Dropping Hair Transformation Amid Courageous Fight Against Brain Cancer - lulu

Teddi Mellencamp appeared on Instagram Tuesday to give her 1.1 million Instagram followers a glimpse of her glamorous new hair.

The 43-year-old former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star stunned in her latest blond wig as she continues her brutal fight with brain cancer.

Teddi — who reached a milestone in her treatment last week — looked gorgeous as she posed in a strapless, soft-green look.

Her fresh, high-shine hairstyle was parted down the middle and arranged in subtle waves that fell over one shoulder.

She put on a glowy display in a full face of makeup including soft blush and a nude-toned matte lipstick.

Mellencamp showed off a necklace decorated with the fossilized tooth of an extinct megalodon shark gifted to her by Bravo TV's Shep Rose, joking in the caption, 'Does this Megalodon tooth make me look like I’m dating @relationshep or trying to get on Southern Charm?'

These days, the mother-of-three's real hair is back to its natural light-brown color and sheared off into a buzz cut.

The star has been candid about her physical changes as she's undergone radiation and immunotherapy to fight brain cancer, which metastasized from her initial skin cancer diagnosis in 2022.

She's noted in recent social media clips that she likes her short hair, but wears wigs to conceal bald spots.

Days ago she took to Instagram to shared a selfie taken from bed as she posed with a half smile.

In a caption to her one million followers, she wrote, 'The other side of my head is completely bald. Please refer your fave non-itchy or hot wigs.

'Dear half-wig/half-baseball caps from Amazon… let’s do better. I was so excited for you. You hurt my feelings.'

Teddi announced her final day of radiation in an online post shared last week.

She noted on Instagram that upon completing radiation, she will only have immunotherapy left to do

Mellencamp's health battle comes amid her ongoing split from husband of 13 years Edwin Arroyave.

Last week, on an episode of his The Eds podcast, he opened up to co-host Eddie Judge about his instinct to be there for Teddi even though their marriage is ending.

The father-of-four said he wanted to get their relationship to a 'good place' and make sure their three kids were emotionally secure amid the news of her diagnosis.

Teddi and Edwin share Slate, 12; Cruz, 10; and Dove, five. Edwin is also father to 16-year-old daughter Isabella from a previous relationship.

'No matter what, I will always love Teddi and she's been a big part of my life. And I like taking care of people, it's just what I do. So it wasn't even like, a question,' Edwin said of being by his wife's side throughout her health ordeal.

Referring to their paused divorce proceedings, he shared, 'The first thing is just making sure that we take care of this first.

'And all that other stuff — we'll see what happens with time. But for right now, it's just more of like, how do we take care of you? And how can we get you back to normal as fast as [possible]? That other stuff will figure itself out.'
