Teddi Mellencamp surprised fans by announcing Saturday she was filing for divorce from Edwin Arroyave after 13 years of marriage.

Pretty much no one saw the split coming, as the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum kept her marriage issues private. But one group who didn’t have blinders on? The equestrianism community!

OK, ready to have your minds blown? Rumor has it Teddi has been riding more than horses. DeuxMoi revealed on her Deux U podcast that after the divorce news came out, MANY sources reached out to tell her the same thing: Teddi has been cheating on Edwin with her horse trainer — and it’s been going on a LONG time! Sound familiar?

Apparently this alleged affair has been something of an open secret in the horse show community — and “everyone there knew for months,” per one source. But the thing about those open secrets… they’re still secret to someone. Like, say, Teddi’s husband and the trainer’s wife!

Yeah, he’s married, too. And Deux’s sources say his wife found out in mid-September, and the whole thing blew up in everyone’s faces — as another insider put it, there was “an all-out brawl between them” at a horse show! Damn! No wonder so many people heard about it! The dirty laundry must have been on display!

But somehow, per another source, Teddi was able to keep it from her own spouse for another few weeks or so — they said Edwin found out “the day before the announcement”! Damn! We guess the whole month that time bomb was ticking, she was getting ready to file. Wow.

Innerestingly, another source told Deux Edwin was also cheating on Teddi! Damn! That’s a horse of a different color! They explained she’d actually found out previously, and that “they were working through it.” Is that what they were doing in therapy? Because it sounds like Teddi was working through it in another way. Ha!
