Tanner Jeannot receives major suspension from the NHL Player Safety for nasty headshot on Brock Boeser

LA Kings forward Tanner Jeannot is the first player to have received a major suspension from the NHL Player Safety following his dangerous headshot on Brock Boeser.

During a matchup on Thursday night, the Los Angeles Kings faced off against the Vancouver Canucks, when we witnessed Tanner Jeannot throw one of the dirtiest hits of the season thus far.

Brock Boeser was attempting to make a play in the middle of the ice when he was blindsided by Kings forward Tanner Jeannot.

NHL insider Elliotte Friedman revealed that since Jeannot received a match penalty for this hit, he would automatically have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety.

Canucks have announced Boeser will not return. Match penalty means automatic NHL review

However, earlier today Jeannot had his hearing, and Friedman along with the NHL Player Safety themselves have revealed that Jeannot would in fact be suspended for three games, being the first major suspension of the year.

Sounds like 3 games for Tanner Jeannot
