Sutton Stracke Reveals the Real Reason Garcelle Beauvais Left RHOBH—Blaming Kyle Richards for Her Unexpected Departure

Ahead of the season 14 finale of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Garcelle Beauvais took to Instagram to announce she was leaving the show after five seasons. The news shocked fans across social media, while many of her co-stars stayed silent on her departure. However, the preview for the upcoming three-part reunion offered a bit more clarity on Beauvais’ decision to make her exit.

‘RHOBH’ Fans React to Garcelle Beauvais Shocking Announcement

On Tuesday, March 25, Beauvais dropped the news that she would no longer be a part of “RHOBH” after five seasons, and in her Instagram post, she told her fans why.

“Hey guys! So I have some news. I’ve decided to leave “Beverly Hills.” It’s been a wild ride — I mean, some amazing things have happened and some hard things have also happened. But it’s been a ride nevertheless,” she said.

Beauvais—who is mom to Oliver, 34, and twins Jaid and Jax, 17—went on to explain that one of the main reasons for her exit was “my family … my boys.”

Fans—including quite a few Bravo accounts and Housewives from across the franchise—immediately hit the comment section to share their feelings about her exit, which at the time seemed out of the blue.

“wwwhhhaaatttttt???!!!!! Noooooooo 😭 but wishing u all the best,” wrote one commenter.

Another shared, “A class act through and through 💕.”

Beauvais’ ‘RHOBH’ Allies React to Her Exit, While Her Other Co-stars Remain Mum

Season 14 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” largely saw the cast divided into two camps. On one side were the remaining members of the Fox Force Five—Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, and for the most part, newbie Bozoma “Boz” Saint John. On the other were Garcelle Beauvais, Jennifer Tilly, and Sutton Stracke—at least when Stracke wasn’t backing up Richards.

Of all the “RHOBH” cast, only Tilly and Stracke publicly commented on Beauvais’ Instagram post.

“Oh my God! Garcelle, we will really miss you! 🥺 You brought so much integrity, warmth, and humor to the franchise,” Tilly wrote.

Stracke added, “Congratulations on your next chapter. Can’t wait to see what’s up your sleeve. Nothing but greatness—this I know.”

The ‘RHOBH’ Season 14 Reunion Trailer Shows Garcelle Beauvais Storming Off the Set

The silence from a few of her “RHOBH” co-stars became a little more clear following the release of the reunion trailer, which dropped before the finale aired.

In the teaser, the impeccably dressed Beauvais is seen storming off set after saying she would not answer any more questions.

“I am just so (expletive) sick of it,” Beauvais said.

She is next seen exiting the studio and saying backstage, “I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them.”

Erika Jayne & Boz Saint John Finally Weigh In on Beauvais’ Exit

Jayne and Saint John offered a bit more insight—and a touch of shade—regarding Beauvais’ departure during a post-finale appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”

When Andy Cohen asked for their thoughts on Beauvais leaving the show, both women responded with silence and smiles—prompting Cohen to push further.

“Ladies? You have no thoughts on it? Neither of you?” he pressed.

After some back-and-forth urging between Jayne and Saint John to speak up, Saint John finally responded: “Look, I am disappointed that she’s departing after the reunion. I wish she would’ve stayed on for another season.”

Jayne then chimed in, referencing Beauvais’ reunion walk-off and claiming, “I knew two weeks ago she wasn’t coming back.”

Cohen, however, appeared surprised. “I didn’t know that she quit!” he said. “When she left the reunion, I wasn’t totally sure. She and I had a conversation here last week.”

The “RHOBH” three-part season 14 reunion begins on Tuesday, April 1 on Bravo. It will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
