West Wilson appeared on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where he addressed his recent drama with Lindsay Hubbard and Ciara Miller.
As the 30-year-old Summer House star offered an update on his dating life, sharing if there were any Bravolebrities he was interested in, and commented on Kyle Cooke‘s feud with Craig Conover, 36, West reacted to Carl Radke, 40, not having sex for one year, revealed where he stands with Lindsay, 38, amid their public feud, and shared how Ciara, 29, surprised him amid season nine.
“[I] got clickbaited real bad. I brought up how much I loved Lindsay this summer and was asked if she would come back to the house, and I said, ‘No way, unless we get a babysitter,’” West recalled on the March 12 episode of WWHL. “I’ve written headlines before. What you’re supposed to do is keep it within the same narrative, obviously, and they did a full 180, so [I] don’t appreciate that.”
Luckily, after a phone call to Lindsay, the two of them made amends days after Lindsay publicly clapped back at him.
“We squashed it,” West confirmed.
Although there have been mixed emotions about Lindsay not living with her boyfriend, Turner Kufe, even after welcoming their first child, daughter Gemma, West said he understood her reasoning for waiting.
“She mentioned she rushed into living with Carl, which I felt was a great counter,” he noted.
Also speaking of Carl, West said it was “wild” to learn that Carl hadn’t had sex for a year.
“But he articulated it, though, in a way that made sense I thought, but that’s pretty wild stuff,” he stated.
Moving on to Ciara, West was asked if he expected Ciara to be so hard on him.
“Expected? No. I think watching back, deserved is a fair word. But expected, no,” he explained. “And in a way, I think, so far, starting where we started leaves room for a little growth.”
During Wednesday’s episode of Summer House, Ciara expressed interest in making out with West, which understandably came as a surprise.
“A lot of episode two took me by surprise, the makeout comment, thanks, and then, she showed a lot more, kind of softness than I thought I would see in confessionals and stuff, and I kind of caught my breath after watching that,” he admitted.
Then, during a game of rapid-fire questions about his former flame, West revealed why he barely defended himself when his relationship with Ciara became a hot topic during a cast dinner.
“I was taken off guard a little bit, and I think that dinner was meant to kind of beat me up, and I thought talking about it in private was better at the time,” he reasoned.
As for his controversial New York Times article about their past relationship, West insisted he felt that he handled the interview “gently.” That said, when asked if he would do the article again, he confirmed, “Of course not.”
Looking back at his post-reunion interaction with Ciara, West said they didn’t have “a lot” of contact after the taping.
“I thought we left kind of, like, cordially, as I thought the first time, but it doesn’t seem to be the case,” he noted, adding that their current relationship is “minimal.”
“But as you’re watching, things are getting better,” he teased.
As for his dating life, West said he was not seeing anybody and taking “a little time out” as he confirmed interest in the ladies of Southern Hospitality.
“There’s cute girls on that show. I don’t know if they’re single or not. Are there single housewives?” he asked.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, West was asked how wild his DMs were.
“Yeah, for better and for worse, though,” he clarified. “There are sometimes boobs, but there’s also, like, people saying, like, mean stuff. Right now, I would say like 80% good/boobs and 20% mean. Not boobs, I was generalizing the word boobs with, like, good stuff. The men are way crazier than the women. Not like dick pics and stuff, but just wild messages. Very, very, just inappropriate. I was gonna let you say [gays] for me. They’re ruthless, but it’s flattering.”
Also on the show, West spoke of Kyle and Craig’s upcoming discussion about their feud and shared if he felt they could rekindle their friendship.
“It happens in a raft in the ocean, so you’ll see it happen. That whole thing is pretty wild, and then yeah, I would imagine they can be friends,” he suggested. “It might’ve been harder — because, obviously, Kyle and Paige have a long friendship and a deeper friendship than that, and I think maybe they can just be boys on the side. They just gotta hash it out a few more times. They’ll be fine.”
Summer House season nine airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
