Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo says Craig Conover is “dead to me” as she reveals brutal breakup details – from “fake” engagement ring claims to his silence amid cheating rumors and a haunting comment from her dad - suong

Paige DeSorbo shared new details about her November 2024 split from Craig Conover amid last night’s episode of the Summer House season nine finale.

As she looked back on her dad’s comment about her personality returning after the breakup, shared her thoughts on whether Craig, 36, really bought her an engagement ring one year before the split, and called out Craig for refusing to defend her against cheating rumors, Paige, 32, explained what led up to her decision to call it quits with the Southern Charm cast member.

“I have so many things to say,” Paige told Lindsay Hubbard, 38, at her apartment as Amanda Batula, 33, arrived on the May 21 episode of Summer House, which was filmed on January 21. “I’m great. Honestly, I feel bad that I feel good. I feel like I made the right decision.”

Looking back at Craig’s visit to New York City for Thanksgiving, Paige recalled a conversation between them.

“He [was] like, ‘Do you ever fantasize about us hosting holidays with our kids?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, of course,’ and then I sat there and I was like, ‘Wait, no, I don’t, and that’s pretty bad.’ So I said to him, I was like, ‘I don’t think I do, and that’s not fair to you. You deserve to have the love of your life, and I feel like I do too, and I can’t pretend that we don’t have these issues.’ And so I was just like, ‘I don’t think I’m feeling the things I’m supposed to be feeling if we’re thinking about getting engaged in the next year.'”

After making the decision to end their relationship at that point, Paige’s choice was solidified by a comment made by her father.

“Two days later, my dad called me and he was like, ‘I just want to let you know, I feel like your personality’s back. I didn’t realize how different you kind of were, and now I call you and you’re so happy. I just feel like I kind of got my daughter back a little,'” she shared. “I was different, and I don’t think I really realized how different I was until we were out of the house and I was on tour.”

During her and Hannah Berner‘s Giggly Squad Tour, Paige suffered a panic attack that didn’t make sense at the time.

“I’m just like, ‘I don’t know why I’m having this. I’m not nervous to do this.’ I’m going on medicine. I’m like, calling my mom every day, calling my therapist. So I’m like dealing with all of this, but also as a girl, I’m like, ‘Am I being dramatic?'” she recalled.

Weeks after their split, in mid-December, Paige agreed to meet Craig in person. And during the meeting, Craig told her about his alleged plan to propose, which she immediately questioned.

“He says to me, ‘I really wish you didn’t do this before you saw the ring.’ Right when he says that to me, in my head, I was like, ‘This is why we’re breaking up, because I don’t know if you’re lying right now.’ He was like, ‘I’ve had it for a year,'” she told Lindsay and Amanda, who expressed interest in seeing the supposed ring.

“It doesn’t exist. We’ll never see it,” Paige replied. 

Paige also called out Craig for being “so rude” by ignoring kind texts Amanda and Kyle Cooke, 42, had sent him post-split, and she shamed him for failing to defend her against claims of cheating.

“I sent him a text and I’m like, ‘I’m getting annihilated right now and you could honestly clear it up in two seconds.’ [He responded, saying], ‘I don’t feel comfortable saying anything at this time,'” she revealed. “‘As a girlfriend, I defended the f*ck out of you in public, I have fought people for you, I have lied through my f*cking teeth for you.’ We haven’t spoken since I asked him to say that I didn’t cheat on him, and he said ‘no.’ After that, I was like, ‘And now, you’re dead to me.'”

As the episode concluded, Paige said that while her and her castmates’ lives weren’t as they had planned, they were actually “way better.”

Summer House‘s two-part season nine reunion begins airing next Wednesday, May 28, at 9/8c on Bravo.
