The May 14 episode of Summer House answered the question: what would Jesse Solomon do if he got broken up with?

While riding out to the Hamptons with Lindsay Hubbard and Gabby Prescod, Lexi Wood told her housemates that she didn’t trust Jesse, 31, anymore after he allegedly told her he couldn’t hang out the previous night around 9:30 p.m. because he’d been getting a manicure.

“I’ve just caught him in so many lies,” Lexi, 26, said.

As a result, Lexi decided she “should probably just end it” with Jesse, who she started seeing earlier in the summer, and wanted to talk to him “ASAP” after they got to the house.

“After reflecting on the summer, I’m actually realizing all of the stress and chaos and drama I felt stems from him,” Lexi told Lindsay, 38, and Gabby, 34.

At the house, Jesse told the guys he sensed that “something feels off” with Lexi. The model proceeded to ask Jesse to talk privately.

“I’m looking for a relationship that's deep,” Lexi said to Jesse. “And like I feel connected to them and I feel like we unfortunately haven't been able to break that, even though I try so hard to kind of get deep with you and feel like you’re my person. And I always give you the benefit of the doubt and I’m always trying to figure out how I can make whatever you say make sense in my head. And I feel like you aren't ready for the relationship I'm looking for.”

Jesse point blank asked Lexi, “So I take it you don't want to date anymore?”

Lexi confirmed that she, in fact, did not want to continue dating. “I just need to be with somebody that like I can trust ... without any doubt in my mind.”

Jesse told Lexi he thought their relationship had been “getting better” and “heading in a good direction” lately.

“I’ve given you so many chances that I would not give anyone else,” Lexi responded. “Just catching [you] in some lies or you not telling me the entire truth. It’s just getting to the point where I’m just like, I don’t trust him.”

Jesse informed Lexi he felt like he’d been trying to "abide by all the rules” she set forth for him.

“You’ve changed me,” Lexi said. “I no longer trust people like I did at the start of the summer. I feel like the light in me is slowly dying because I’m exhausted from teaching you.”

Jesse said he didn’t appreciate being labeled as a liar. “I don't appreciate you trying to tear me down,” he added.

Once their conversation wrapped, Jesse powwowed with West Wilson. “I really had feelings for this girl, but she just made me out to be a liar,” Jesse said to West.

When some of the other housemates joined the conversation, Jesse told them Lexi seemed to be upset about his friendship with Ciara Miller because Lexi felt like the Traitors star, 29, had been rude to her. However, when Kyle Cooke mentioned this to Lexi, she denied that.

Jesse told the group Lexi took issue with her hanging out with Ciara, because Ciara had been rude to her.

“I never mentioned Ciara. I don't care about Ciara,” Lexi said to Kyle, 41, adding that she and Jesse supposedly “did not have any conversation about Ciara.”

The topic came up later at Lindsay’s Freedom Dinner, which she threw to commemorate the first anniversary of her engagement to Carl Radke ending.

“Thank you for setting me free so I could go and accomplish my dreams,” Lindsay said to Carl, 40.

Lexi proceeded to ask Jesse why he mentioned Ciara as a factor in their breakup when “it has nothing to do with anyone other than you and your actions.”

The episode ended with Lexi telling Ciara she didn’t trust her.

Summer House airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
