Summer House star Kyle Cooke is opening up about his ongoing feud with former co-star Hannah Berner, as he also threw some serious shade at Craig Conover while defending himself against claims of rage-texting Paige DeSorbo.
Hannah joined Summer House during the show’s third season, and she departed the series two installments later. Since then, she has subtly claimed that Kyle was part of the reason she was fired.
Recently, the LoverBoy CEO sat down for an interview with Page Six, during which he was asked about his issues with Hannah. Specifically, the interviewers asked him why they hadn’t made positive progress toward fixing their issues. He said, “I’m not the one talking about Hannah—it’s the inverse.”
“I’m not the one out there spewing lies,” Kyle added.
Previously, Kyle has said that he’d love to put their issues to bed. The Summer House star told the outlet, “I hate having lingering issues with anyone in my life, and I always hoped for an opportunity to reconcile things with Hannah. … I don’t want any bad blood and wish her nothing but success.”
Kyle also spoke to Page Six about his ongoing issues with Craig. Their problems began when Craig invested in a competing beverage company called Spritz. Kyle reacted to a press release from the company stating that it would be featured in an upcoming episode of Summer House.
According to Kyle, “I mean, I’m the least surprised. I think the only press they’ve received in the last year has had my name on it — or the show.”
Regarding Craig, Kyle explained, “I think Craig just fed them a bunch of misinformation, which is what he does, and I don’t actually blame them whatsoever. It’s really just when integrity is compromised is when I have issue.”
As fans know, Kyle was accused of rage-texting Paige during the season, which he also spoke to Page Six about. In defense of his text messages to Paige, Kyle explained, “I think ‘rage-texting’ is a little [bit] of a stretch because I was, like, kind of spitting facts.”
He went on to say that the texts were “not really geared toward her.” He then said, “I was just like, ‘I can’t believe this. Like, I’m so discouraged.'”
The Summer House star also reacted to Paige’s reaction to him calling her “two-faced” during season nine. “To be honest, I was so blindsided by Paige popping off,” Kyle said. “The only reason I called her two-faced was because I checked in with her at my DJ event. I was like, ‘Hey, I’m sorry.’ I was like, ‘In the moment, I could not believe what I was hearing.'”
