Summer House's Bailee Henderson Drops Bombshell Engagement News Amid Rumors Surrounding Her Departure - suong

Amid speculation on her mysterious exit from Summer House, Bailee Henderson announced she’s engaged. In an early episode of the season, Jesse Solomon questioned why Bailee brought a suitcase that belonged to a guy in the city. At the time, she claimed that she was single, insisting that she and Suitcase Guy weren’t serious.

But soon after, Bailee disappeared from filming. As of now, her exact reason for exiting the show is unknown – though certain reports have surfaced. In May, Bailee mentioned her boyfriend Shiv on social media, but it’s unclear if he’s ‘the suitcase guy.’

On June 16, Bailee dropped a bomb to her Instagram followers.

“I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend,” wrote the star, along with a carousel of photos of her fiancé and the large diamond ring. 

Back in March, podcaster Samantha Bush shared a rumor about Bailee’s exit.

“What I heard — from a reliable source — is that Bailee lied to everyone on the cast and said that she didn’t have a boyfriend,” said Samantha at the time on Bravo! We’re Black. “She, like, had everyone blocked from her Close Friends Stories, where she would post him.”

“But she forgot to take Amanda [Batula] off of it,” the podcaster continued. “So then Amanda saw it and they all confronted [Bailee] about it. And they were like, ‘So you lied?’ And I don’t think she ever saw them again. Like, I don’t think we’ll ever hear from Bailee again.”

The podcaster then reacted to a rumor that Bailee was fired for “talking s**t” about castmates.

“No,” Samantha stated. “You think production would fire someone because she’s talking s**t? That’s what the shows are built off of. They would fire Tamra Judge instantly if that was the case.”

Bailee entered the house as a friend of Lexi Wood. Now, it seems neither Lexi nor Bailee will return for the upcoming season. The show will likely have a cast shakeup due to Paige DeSorbo‘s exit. Fans have also speculated that Lindsay Hubbard’s role will change in some capacity due to the recent birth of her daughter Gemma.
