After months of staying silent about her unexpected split from Craig Conover, Summer House star Paige DeSorbo has finally opened up, revealing new details about why their relationship came to an end. One major factor she highlighted was that they never had plans to live together—a key issue that ultimately impacted their future as a couple.
Paige and Craig started dating in 2021 after knowing each other through Bravo’s reality shows. Their relationship quickly gained public attention, but what surprised fans was that despite dating for a long time, they never actually moved in together.
In a recent interview, Paige admitted that she never felt comfortable with the idea of living with Craig. “I’m a very independent person and really enjoy having my own space,” she shared. “Craig, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. He always wanted to build a life together and settle down quickly, but I wasn’t ready for that.”
Their long-distance relationship—Paige living and working in New York while Craig was based in Charleston running his business—added further challenges. Although they tried to maintain a balance, the geographical distance and lifestyle differences gradually created an irreparable rift.

Although their relationship ended, Paige emphasized that there is no bad blood between her and Craig. They still respect each other and want the best for one another.
“Craig is a great guy—he’s loving and caring. But sometimes, love isn’t enough to sustain a relationship when two people have completely different life goals,” she said.
Paige also clarified that the breakup wasn’t caused by a single major event but rather the accumulation of differences over time. While it was painful, she believes they made the right decision so they could each pursue paths that align better with their individual aspirations.
Currently, Paige is focusing on her career, particularly her fashion and television projects. She shared that she is enjoying single life and is not in a rush to jump into another relationship.
“I’m happy with where I am right now. This is a time for me to explore myself more and focus on my personal goals,” she shared.
As for Craig, he is continuing to grow his business and remains active in reality TV. Even though they are no longer together, both seem to be moving forward in positive directions.
When asked whether she and Craig might rekindle their romance in the future, Paige didn’t completely rule it out but also didn’t give fans much hope.
“I think that if two people are truly meant to be together, they’ll find their way back to each other at the right time. But right now, I just want to focus on my life,” she said.
