Summer House has reportedly gotten a major shakeup ahead of season seven.
As the returning members of the Bravo reality series prepare for the start of production, Luke Gulbranson has confirmed he will not be featured on the new episodes as Alex Wach hinted he too would be absent. Plus, rumors suggested Andrea Denver and Ciara Miller had been booted from their full-time roles.
“Just so everybody knows, yeah, I’m not going to be on Summer House this year. I wanted people to hear that from me. I won’t be on the show,” Luke confirmed during an Instagram Live session on Tuesday, June 28. “I’m extremely thankful for the past three years of being on the show.”
That said, Luke admitted that not being a part of the Summer House cast would be tough.
“I’m going to miss my friends a ton, [I’m] actually extremely bummed I’m not going to be able to spend the summer with them. It breaks my heart but I know they’ll have a good time,” he shared.
Around the time of Luke’s post, Alex took to his Instagram page, where he mentioned “curve balls.”
“Everyone can agree that life throws some curve balls now and again. Recently I’ve felt like life has thrown me a curveball straight to my face. At first I didn’t handle it in the best way, shutting myself in physically and emotionally. Even fitness, my passion, took a backseat to a point where it took all my willpower to get out of bed or leave the house,” Alex wrote in a lengthy post.
“After a few weeks with some help from some friends, I’m learning to take some time to self reflect and take a step back, something extremely hard to do living within the NYC hustle and bustle lifestyle,” he continued. “This pic is from last year where I was in peak form mentally and physically. I’m happy that I can look back and use a past version of myself as a goal to strive for. The process is never easy or fast, but you always come out better on the other side and hopefully look back on it with a smile. ”
In the comments section of Alex’s post, Andrea offered support.
“My brother everything will be fine! Sending you love,” he said.
According to reports, Luke, Alex, and Andrea have all reportedly been axed from the show.
“It is being alleged that Luke Gulbranson, Andrea Denver, and Alex Wach have not been asked to return to the show for the upcoming season,” The Bravo Guru revealed to their followers this week. “It is also being alleged that cast member, Ciara Miller, may not be returning to the summer house in a full-time capacity. She could be a friend that just pops up to the house from time to time.”
Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, Amanda Batula, Paige DeSorbo, Danielle Olivera, and Mya Allen are all expected to return for the new episodes.
The Bravo Guru also said the Summer House cast will begin filming season seven this weekend.
