When Kyle Cooke first appeared on the Bravo reality show Summer House in 2017, viewers quickly fell in love with his fun personality and his ability to not take life too seriously. Since then, the 42-year-old entrepreneur has gone on to star in eight more seasons of the show and even created his own alcohol brand, Loverboy. He also married his longtime on-and-off-again girlfriend, Amanda Batula, in 2021.

Summer House is currently in the middle of its ninth season on Bravo, and according to Cooke, the entire thing has just “been a wild ride.”
“If someone told me we’d do this for five seasons, let alone nine, I would have been, like, ‘You’re kidding, like there’s no way.’” he said. “We feel very fortunate to keep doing what we’re doing. It’s a bit of a roller coaster ride when you put everything out there. I feel like on our show, the way we film just lends itself to being a very real glimpse of our lives, and therefore makes for good reality television.”
say Hubbard, Gabby Prescod, Imrul Hassan and Lexi Wood in 'Summer House' season 9In the current season, fans see Cooke and Batula continue to enjoy their marital bliss and get a behind-the-scenes look at Lindsay Hubbard’s pregnancy, which came after she broke up with Carl Radke at the end of season 8. They also see Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Gabby Prescod and Danielle Olivera come together to support Lindsay as she deals with this incredibly confusing time in her life. After all, it’s not easy to live with your ex while carrying another man’s child.
“It’s kind of a breath of fresh air having all the ladies in this house kind of coming together this season,” Cooke said. “Literally for the first time ever, Paige, Amanda and Lindsay are all in a good place with each other, and I’m hoping that continues.”

Speaking of women in the Summer House cast, Cooke’s wife Batula just so happens to be one of them.
Viewers first met Batula in season 1 after Cooke admitted he broke up with her to be single in the summer, but then kept calling her to come over. They got together again in the season finale (2017) and were engaged in 2018. Following that, Cooke admitted that he cheated on Batula and the couple took a short break before coming back together and tying the knot in September 2021.
Since then, people have been wondering when the couple would start having kids, but according to Cooke, they have their two “little fur babies to kind of hold us over.”
“We actually have a couple of conversations on camera coming up in this season, but ultimately, we kind of wanted to prioritize her mental health,” the reality star explained. “I feel like I’ve got so much going on with my business. And candidly, the dogs are a lot.”
Cooke and Batula just adopted two dogs from a shelter, which he says are “like 15 different breeds.”

When he’s not renting houses in Montauk, New York, Cooke can either be found DJing or working on his alcohol brand Loverboy.
“We’re focused on still getting Loverboy some distribution,” he explained. “We love doing collabs at Loverboy, so we’ve teamed up with a few different companies. It keeps things fresh, and it keeps things fun.”
