Summer House hasn’t been shy about airing its stars’ messiest hookups through the years, but newbie Imrul Hassan‘s “friends” are getting a little more privacy this season.
During a recent interview on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, Jesse Solomon was asked about Imrul’s frequent visitors in the Hamptons house during season 9. Jesse, 31, admitted that his costars were “shocked” by Imrul’s “savage” behavior.
“There’s that one scene where West [Wilson] and I are like, ‘She’s here?!’ at the same time. Like, ‘There’s girls here?!'” Jesse recalled. “It was just kind of like, I couldn’t believe that he would wanna do that on camera [and] that the girls would wanna do that.”
Many of the girls, however, haven’t shown their faces on camera at all. “I think [they] don’t wanna be on the show,” Jesse theorized, adding that Imrul is “getting a good edit” compared to what really went down in the house last summer.
When it comes to who Imrul bonded with — if anyone — Jesse noted that the newcomer was “friendlier” with Carl Radke and Kyle Cooke. “He and West had some conversations, but conversations with him were always very serious,” Jesse said. “He wasn’t an easygoing guy. But he’s a good person, I think, and a nice person.”

Jesse, meanwhile, admitted that he and Imrul “beefed” in the aftermath of ToeGate. (ICYMI, Jesse interrupted Imrul’s threesome earlier this season and ended up having his toe sucked by one of the women — for 37 minutes — while his summer fling and costar Lexi Wood was out of town.)
Without hesitation, Jesse acknowledged on “Chicks in the Office” that he knew the toe incident was a bad idea. “At the time, I think I was like, ‘This is funny.’ You know, Summer House drunk shenanigans,” he confessed. “I’m sure you could find a girl that I’ve dated before and ask her if we do toe-sucking. It never happens. I’ve never done it before, nor after. … I just thought it was funny at the time.”
Fans have been following along with the fallout from ToeGate since it aired last month. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on April 9, Lexi, 27, hinted that she isn’t convinced other lines weren’t crossed.
“I don’t believe it was only a toe,” she said, noting that she’s picked up on “red flags” while watching the episodes back
