Summer House star Amanda Batula is gearing up for the show’s epic 10th season. She became a main cast member during Season 2. Over the years, Summer House fans have watched her relationship with co-star Kyle Cooke blossom and mature. The couple tied the knot in 2021.
Meanwhile, Amanda took on a leadership role in the creative branding of Kyle’s beverage company, Loverboy. However, she is now mainly focused on her swimwear line. Amanda Batula Swim was launched in February 2025.
Reality Tea sat down with Amanda to discuss her hopes for Summer House Season 10, the success of her swimsuit line, and why partnering with Swiffer was a no-brainer.

“For Season 10, I mean, anyone who is willing to have a good time. Anyone! I don’t care who it is,” Amanda said. “I love when there’s a good mix of people – people that love to go out and party. And then also people that love to just like chill and be laid back.” She added, “I feel like when you have a good balance like that, that makes for the best summers for me.”
However, Amanda would like to see some of the Summer House cast “take some accountability” for their actions. She explained, “I hope the men are humbled a little bit. I feel like the past few years, they’ve been, you know, just a little bit messy with the ladies. And playing games and taking us for granted.” Amen!
According to Amanda, the men “keep it together during the season, and then go off the rails after we’ve filmed.” She continued, “I’m hoping they keep themselves in line. They’re men, so … well, they’re boys.”
Speaking of men, Amanda and Kyle will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary in September. So, what is Amanda’s best piece of marriage advice? “Oh, my goodness. I feel like this maybe says more about me than just like advice in general. Because I feel like I give this advice all the time, with many things. It’s just to be patient. I think patience is a huge aspect of getting through anything,” Amanda explained. “Just like being patient and kind towards one another.”
The designer continued, “Kyle deals with his own stressors. I deal with my, you know, depression and my own anxiety, and feeling overwhelmed. And just being kind to one another and trying to help each other out when we are struggling. I think that’s been really big for us.”
Amanda Batula calls Paige DeSorbo’s Summer House departure “bittersweet”

One of Amanda’s besties, Paige DeSorbo, announced that she was exiting Summer House after Season 9. “I’m obviously very sad about it. She’s one of my best friends. The idea of not spending the whole summer with her is hard,” Amanda said. “I’ve compared it to like, you know, when your friend from high school moves away and you’re no longer in high school together. Yes, you can still see each other. Yes, you can still talk to each other, but there’s something different about going through Summer House together.”
While Amanda will miss Paige tremendously, she is also excited about Paige’s new endeavors. “I’m proud of her, and I’m excited to see what she does next, because she’s got a lot of stuff up her sleeve,” the designer said. “It’s a bittersweet moment. Sad for me, happy for her.”
However, is there a chance that Paige, Amanda, and Ciara Miller could reunite for a spinoff? “I would be happy to do absolutely anything with Paige and Ciara. I mean, we have so much fun literally just sitting in bed together, scrolling on our phones separately, not talking to each other,” Amanda said. “So, the idea of filming a show together with just us would be amazing. But, yeah, only time will tell. Someone’s gotta get on it.” Hear that, Bravo?
Amanda Batula’s swimsuit line is getting raves

Amanda’s goal in creating Amanda Batula Swim was designing swimsuits that made women “feel confident and comfortable.” Plus, she wanted the pieces to “actually fit them.” And Amanda has received DMs from ladies expressing their appreciation.
“It really brings tears to my eyes when I get the messages from women that are like, ‘I’m so self-conscious wearing a bathing suit, but when I put yours on, and it actually fit, I felt good for the first time being at the pool and not like spilling out of my suit or whatever,’” Amanda stated. “That was the whole point of it … it wasn’t just to create swimsuits. It was to, you know, fill that gap in the market, and I think I did that.”
As for Amanda’s favorite piece in her line? “It’s the Ciara top. I think it’s really cute. It has thicker straps, [and] it has underwire. I just think it’s very flattering.”
“I feel like as a woman in my 30s, I don’t want to be wearing a thong bathing suit anymore. But I also don’t want something that’s full coverage. So, I did a really good job with the bottoms, finding that like middle ground where it’s a little cheeky, but it’s not up your butt,” Amanda added with a laugh.
Why partnering with Swiffer made sense for Amanda
Amanda, who has two pups, Ryder and Reese, has been a longtime lover of Swiffer products. “But with the two dogs, and running around, there’s no shortage of messes around our apartment. There’s no shortage of dog fur, or puppy paw prints, or water marks, so that’s why you know they came out with this new Swiffer Sweep and Mop Deluxe, which you can use the dry pads and the wet pads, all in one,” Amanda explained.
“It’s their newest innovation in like 25 years, and the best part about it is that it has a collapsible handle. So, living in a New York City apartment, you don’t have a ton of room for storage, so being able to collapse that rod and put it under my sink or … in a smaller cabinet, or like under a dresser or something, where it’s just not taking up as much space but you still can bring it out and make it full-size.”
In addition, the heavy-duty dry pad has been magical for picking up the dog hair on Amanda’s floors. “So, it’s been a lifesaver. No more dog hairballs running around this apartment!” Amanda exclaimed.
Summer House is available to stream on Peacock. The show streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
