Kyle Cooke claimed Craig Conover doesn’t “run his own business” and suggested he has “partners” who help him. Plus, the Summer House star teased “issues” with Craig during the current season, and he hinted at what Lindsay Hubbard’s boyfriend is like.
Kyle, who runs his own beverage company, and Craig, who has a pillow business, feuded last year when the Southern Charm star invested in a beverage brand that competes against Kyle’s. Craig appears sporadically on Summer House because he was dating Kyle’s co-star, Paige DeSorbo.
“Kyle Cooke, name one way Craig is a more savvy businessman than you,” asked host Andy Cohen in a Watch What Happens Live panel, via @queensofbravo on Instagram.
Kyle laughed.
“He doesn’t actually run his own business,” Kyle answered. “He gets to do his thing … I’m jealous of that.”
On the After Show, Kyle added that Craig has “business partners” who “help him run his business.”
“I’m a sole founder [of my company],” said Kyle, who claimed he’s “envious” that Craig has people who help him.
His wife Amanda Batula then told Kyle to “say something nice” about how Craig runs his business.
“Ultimately, it’s all about our friendship,” said Kyle. “I know we had our issues, and you’ll see that on Summer House. We had a great convo. We put it behind us. What I meant is that I’m kind of envious that he doesn’t have all of the stress on his back because he has business partners. That makes him a savvy businessman.”
Shep Rose then defended his co-star Craig, saying, “If you’re successful, forget everybody … Don’t listen to the voices. Just continue on the path.”
Meanwhile, at Bravo Fan Fest, host Rachel Lindsay asked Amanda and Kyle if they’d gone on double dates with their co-star Lindsay and her boyfriend Turner Kufe, who welcomed a baby last December.
“No, but we did sit across from them at a wedding in Portugal [last] year,” said Amanda, via Bravo TV.
Kyle chimed in, “And we went to their baby shower. He’s a very nice guy, we could do a double date.”
Amanda later explained, “We don’t go on dates [in general]…I don’t leave my apartment, I’m very happy at home.”
Though Kyle claimed he and his wife are best friends, he hinted at disagreements.
“When we do have an argument or disagreement, we still share a roof,” he said. “We can’t hold grudges.”
During the season eight reunion, Lindsay first opened up about Turner.
“I’m dating a wonderful man…He’s incredible. He’s so sweet. We actually went on a few dates three-and-a-half years ago,” she said. “It was just bad timing back then for him and for me. And then he kind of popped back up in December and then we started dating in January.”
