“Summer House” star Lindsay Hubbard says she would consider filming for “Real Housewives of New York City.”
During an appearance on the January 14 episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast hosted by Amanda Hirsch, Hubbard discussed her future on the Bravo series, which she began starring in in 2017. She said since the arrival of her first child, Gemma, whom she shares with her boyfriend, Dr. Turner Kufe, she was unsure whether she would continue to film for “Summer House.” She noted that she will now be unable to live with her castmates during the summer as she had done in past seasons.
“Being a mommy changes partying at share house in the summer. Do I think I’ll be in the Hamptons all summer? Yes, I do. But will I be at a party house? Probably not, every weekend, no,” said Hubbard.
When Hirsch asked if Hubbard could see herself “joining a different show,” specifically RHONY, Hubbard said she would be “happy to.” She said she would like to have a conversation with Bravo producers, including Andy Cohen, to discuss her future on the network following the birth of her child.
“I would love to, like, sit down at a conference table with the executives of ‘Summer House’ and Bravo and Andy and just be like, ‘Okay guys, what are we doing with me?'” said Hubbard.
Hubbard said she should remain on Bravo because she is “entertaining, whether you like [her] or not.” She also said she makes for a good reality television personality because she is “just open about” her life. In addition, she said she is “outspoken” and “pretty real,” which are good traits for a “Real Housewives” star.
“I think that I’m good at being on TV,” said Hubbard.
Lindsay Hubbard Said She Wanted to Remain on Bravo in a November 2024 Interview
Hubbard made similar comments about wanting to keep filming for Bravo in a November 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I’m obsessed with Bravo. I love my network. And whatever makes the most sense, yeah, of course. If RHONY makes sense for me, give me a call,” said Hubbard to the publication.
She also noted that the “Summer House” cameras will sometimes follow the cast when they live outside of the show’s shared house.
“Obviously, I’m not going to bring my baby to a party house in the Hamptons. We have the last couple of years — we’ve filmed a lot in the city,” said Hubbard in the interview.
Lindsay Hubbard Said She Believed She Could Be Featured on Future Seasons of ‘Summer House’
Hubbard said she believed she could be featured in future seasons of “Summer House” in a December 2024 episode of the “Bravo’s Hot Mic” podcast. She said she believed cameras could capture her life in New York City, outside of the summer house.
“At very minimum, we can film me in my life,” said Hubbard on the podcast.
“Summer House” season 9 premiers on February 12 on Bravo.
