NOW that I am a Celeb’s ‘single’ Maura Higgins is busy mingling in the jungle over on ITV, the sizzling chemistry between her former love interest Pete Wicks, 36 and his strictly partner Jowita Przystal, 30 is burning up the BBC.

Popular duo Pete and Jowita have been seen arriving at and leaving the BBC studios together in recent weeks, with insiders saying that they’re now sharing car rides.

New photos show them emerging from the north London studios at night, appearing relaxed and comfortable in each other's company.

The new shots of the Strictly pair together, follows Pete’s ex, Maura Higgin’s declaration that she’s officially single, as she arrived in Oz to star in ITV’s I am a Celeb last week.

Ex-Love Island star Maura, 33, said: “I date, but I am very much single.” a statement which put an end to ongoing speculation that she was in a relationship with Pete Wicks, after the pair were spotted on a series of dates together.

There were even suggestions that reality stars Pete and Maura were planning a power couple take over, with a series of lucrative brand partnerships and appearances, but that now seems less likely.

Now sources over at BBC’s Strictly says that the relationship between Pete and Jowita is the big talking point backstage, as the pair don’t seem to be hiding their bond.

An insider told The Sun: “The chemistry between them has been pretty clear since the moment they met.

"But the last few weeks something has changed and they’ve started seeing each other away from the show.

“They’ve tried to keep it low-key but they often travel together rather than getting separate cars to different locations.

Meanwhile Jowita is very much single having split from her long-term lover and daner Michael Danilczuk in 2022, the same year that she lifted the glitterball trophy with wildlife presenter, Hamza Yassin.

Tonight their dazzling connection with be on display as they tango to Phil Collin’s Easy Lover on the BBC show.

Meanwhile, Down Under and over on ITV, Maura Higgins will sit down to a romantic meal for one in the I am a Celeb eating trials.
