BBC VIEWERS watching the Strictly Come Dancing special have made a request to the BBC for a spin off special.
Strictly Come Dancing has celebrated twenty years since the show first aired on the BBC, with an anniversary special highlighting some of the best dances and moments.
Viewers watched highlights from two decades of Strictly ranging from Rose Ayling-Ellis's jaw dropping silent performance, Bill Bailey's epic moves to Ed Balls performing Gangnam Style.
Key moments also showed performances from earlier series including Natasha Kaplinsky winning the first ever series and Jill Halfpenny's iconic jive dance, which saw the show's first ever 10 points for a dance.
Yet whilst watching back some of the show's most memorable performances has seen viewers call for the BBC to produce an 'All Star' spin off special.
Taking to X whilst the show aired, viewers have made their call for an All Stars special as one posted: "#Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing Need to do an all star series for its 21st year next year.
"We've had a blind and deaf winner now we need the ULTIMATE winner."
Another thought similar as they shared: "we need an all star season of Strictly but with all the ringer type contestants #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."
Another viewer pointed out their favourite moments as they wrote: "Vincent and Flavia’s Argentine Tangos, James and Brendan stirring things up every week, Artem and Kara’s romance, Oti and Danny’s Samba, Showdance hype, Blackpool, Wembley, Halloween, Musicals, Movie nights and Jay and Aliona’s Jive - all peak #Strictly".
Another demand from viewers included asking for the past twenty years of dancing to be added to BBC iPlayer, as one fan begged: "The BBC should upload all the #Strictly series to iplayer #20FabulousYears."
"They should put all the episodes of #Strictly on the iplayer. I’d love to watch them all again," said another.
Others were left in awe of the past twenty years of the show, as one viewer added: "I’m enjoying the #Strictly anniversary show so much! what incredible dances, contestants, hosts and judges!"
Another shared: "Loving this celebration of 20 years of Strictly …"
The show also touched upon huge changes in the show, including shake ups to the judging panel.
The show's original judging lineup was the late Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Arlene Phillips and Bruno Tonioli.
However now it's fronted by Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Anton du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood.
The show has also seen many celebrities feature in the series, including some who have passed away which the anniversary special has paid homage to.
