STRICTLY Come Dancing fans reckon they've pinpointed the exact moment Pete Wicks was left gutted at his dismal show score.
The TOWIE alumni dazzled in Saturday's first live show, taking on a sultry Paso Doble routine with partner and former Strictly champ, Jowita Przystal, 30.
Pete, 34, certainly looked the part, donning a black top, leather waistcoat and dark eyeliner and arriving on stage via a chain attached to the ceiling.
Yet despite being supported by his BFF Sam Thompson and former show star Zara McDermott, 27, he appeared less than impressed on the night.
The judges dished out a score of 17, with Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke both showing their five paddles.
Yet after learning it placed him mid-table, fans reckoned he looked less than impressed.
His partner Jowita urged him to believe in himself more and said: "Tonight is the night you proved you can.
"You can. Because you've danced a beautiful Paso Doble and I'm looking forward to another week of rehearsals."
Yet when the judges gave their scores on his routine, one show fan took to X to screen-grab the moment and remark on his reaction to the number paddles.
They unkindly pinpointed his expression in the moment he was given a five score and put: "I wish to hang this pained grimace in The Louvre."
Another noted: "Pete already seeming like he can’t take constructive criticism.. yeah I don’t see him lasting long in this."
One then uploaded a GIF which said: "You can usually pinpoint the moment his heart ripped in half."
Yet others had his back after his opening routine on the BBC show.
One posted: "You could tell Pete was deflated after them scores. I think he’s a dark horse and one to watch; he’s stubborn and doesn’t back down and throws his all into stuff."
Another added: "I think Pete was scored poorly tbh ngl. I thought it was quite alright for week 1."
One then mused: "Wynne was overmarked he wasn’t better than Sam or Shane.
"Shane and Pete undermarked."
Pete was recnetly branded as "fake" by fans who suggested being the pnly star to be selected for the Paso Doble meant he had hidden "power moves" and dance skills.
Meanwhile, his performance could have been hampered by injury.
Recently, Pete was seen bending down in pain as he revealed a current injury.
It came as he prepared to train with professional partner Jowita Przystal.
In video with best pal Sam Thompson he said: "I've done me groin!"
Previously, on his and Sam's Staying Relevant podcast, Pete said: “I'm 36, I haven't been to the gym in ages.
"My ribs are still broken, which is going to be a pain."
It came after Pete and Jowita had their knuckles rapped for breaking a rehearsal room rule.
Pete took to social media to explain that he and Jowita had been ‘told off’ for not posting anything on social media together while rehearsing.
