Season 10 of Southern Charm has ended, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still fallout from some of the drama. This was a pretty dynamic season for all of the cast members, but especially for Taylor Ann Green. Now, she’s opening up about not only feeling safe with her boyfriend, but she’s also slamming Austen Kroll for throwing her under the bus when it comes to “boobgate.”
As fans know, Austen jokingly asked Salley Carson to show him her breasts during an episode from season 10. She mentioned this to some of the ladies from the cast, and Taylor told Austen this as a bit of a FYI. This naturally led to a bit of drama within the group.
According to Bravo, Taylor recently sat down for an interview with the Live, Laugh, Lies podcast. She discussed quite a bit, but one of the notable moments centered around her boyfriend, Gaston Rojas. She said of their relationship, “Things are going really well.”
She went on to explain why he’s so unique by saying, “I have never been in a relationship that I feel so secure. I’ve been in really healthy relationships before, but there was always something where I felt kind of anxious. You know, when we’re not together, does he think about me? Is he looking at some other girl’s Instagram page? Did he like this? It was just that something was in the back of my head, even though it was a healthy relationship and a great guy. But, I’ve truly just never felt so safe.”
From there, she also discussed how supportive Gaston has been of her. Notably, she went through the death of her brother and the demise of her friendship with Olivia Flowers. Taylor said, “I think that the biggest way he showed up was just when I was so broken…”
She added, “I had just lost my brother, and I think a lot of people just saw a broken girl, and they’re like, ‘Oh, I’m going to stay away from that.’ But, we went on our accidental date, and we sat and talked for four hours, so he got to hear my whole story. I think he saw a broken person and was like, ‘How can I help you pick up the pieces?’ That’s just how he shows up, and he’s very loyal. He gives loyalty and he expects it.”
Regarding his personality, the Southern Charm star added, “He will tell you how it is, he’s a New Yorker, so he’s very up front, he’s blunt. He’s like, ‘I’ll say it to your face.'”
Regarding “boobgate,” according to Bravo, Taylor was discussing it with Rodrigo Reyes on a recent After Show. As he was giving his opinion on her giving Austen a “heads up,” she interjected and said, “And then him throwing me under the bus, yet again. I’m never gonna give Austen a heads-up ever again.”
Rodrigo noted, “Because now it turns into, like, you’re being delusional because you have it out for Salley.” During the After Show, Austen also defended asking to see Salley’s breasts. He revealed, “Salley was talking about getting a breast reduction, and I was like, ‘Well, if this is like a last hurrah, let ’em out,’ right? And that’s how I took it.” He then said that it would have been a problem if he had “followed her into the bathroom.”
