Jarrett “JT” Thomas is suggesting that Southern Charm ruined his relationships with both his co-star, Venita Aspen, and his girlfriend, Ali Pereless.
While also setting the record straight about a post he shared earlier this week amid his ongoing social media drama with Venita, 31, in which he said to “be careful what you wish for,” JT, 39, admitted that both of his relationships were “shattered” as he expressed hope for a future reconciliation with both women.
“The TV show has basically shattered both relationships. In time, I hope the friendship can be restored fully with both.. and in the meantime I just want peace,” JT wrote in the caption of an Instagram Story that spoke of Ali clapping back at Venita.
As fans may have seen, Ali fired back at Venita after she suggested that Southern Charm producers had inaccurately portrayed her as a “home wrecker” by making it appear that she pursued JT after learning they were dating.
“Venita met me as Jarrett’s girlfriend at dinner with Bunny last April pre-filming but I appreciate her trying to save face! Happy to send receipts,” Ali wrote in an Instagram comment earlier this month as their love triangle played out on the show.
As for JT’s comment to “be careful what you wish for,” he clarified that he was following up on a prior post.
“I was being rhetorical, towards myself.. because the IG story I posted (moments prior) to that statement was of me saying all I want is peace and quiet [because] I’ve now lost two quality women in my life and wish to return to friendship with both [and] right after I threw that up on my story.. I landed on a USweekly cover photo (jacket gate) so I said ‘be careful what you wish for @myself,’ in partial jest.”
“So let me be clear. I want peace, quiet, and hopefully I can regain friendship with both women after a truly brutal year for all of us. I’ll leave it at that,” he added.
Southern Charm season 10 airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
