We love our favorite reality shows when they deliver fun and light-hearted content. However, sometimes the stars of these shows have to share difficult news with their fans. This was on full display when Madison LeCroy recently shared on Southern Charm that her husband, Brett Randle, had been diagnosed with cancer. Now, she’s giving an update on how he’s doing.
Madison first joined Southern Charm during the show’s sixth season. Now, all these years later, she’s still on the show, and she has been married to Brett since 2022.
Southern Charm season 10 is off to a strong start, not only because of the drama from the cast members but also because of Madison’s emotional revelation about Brett and his battle with thyroid cancer. She revealed in the second episode that he found out near the end of last year. Making matters worse, this was also near their one-year wedding anniversary.
She said in the episode, “Unfortunately, Brett was diagnosed with thyroid cancer toward the end of last year, around our one-year wedding anniversary. I thought, like, how? Like, I’m finally happy. I mean, it’s just scary.”
The episode also showed Madison checking up on Brett and revealing how she told her son about the cancer. Naturally, this is a difficult time for the whole family.
Madison has now shared an update on her husband’s health. The Southern Charm star took to her Instagram Stories recently and said, “I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for checking on Brett. Your messages and kindness mean so much to us and have not gone unnoticed.”
Madison added, “Brett is getting stronger every day, and we’re so grateful for the love and support. We love ya’ll–thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”
Southern Charm airs on Thursday nights on Bravo.
