The Bravo star revealed to the outlet that she and Randle, 38, mindfully approached the process of getting pregnant — and it happened much quicker than expected.
"Honestly, when Brett and I were making this plan of growing our family, I was like, 'Okay, we've got to make this as easy as possible,'" she explained. "So I actually started using the Clearblue ovulation test, and I got a smiley face. Once we got the smiley face, we were like, 'Okay, it's go time,' and it instantly happened."
This will be LeCroy's first child with Randle, who she married in November 2022. She is already mom to Hudson, her 12-year-old son with her ex-husband, Josh Hughes.
Hudson "was my first one that I told," LeCroy said of learning she was expecting. "And yeah, he was excited. Obviously, at first, he's like, 'Eh.' And then we recently got a puppy, so he goes, 'Actually I really love caring, so might as well.'
LeCroy's response? "I was like, 'Okay. This is going to be way different, but okay.'"
Now that the reality alumna is expecting, she noted the process has gone smoothly — for the most part.
LeCroy told People that there have been some small changes she's noticed about carrying a baby now that she's no longer 22. "I had the glowing skin and I had all that [with Hudson], and this is the opposite," she shared, noting that she's also more "exhausted" and has "full-blown acne."
LeCroy's baby joy comes on the heels of a particularly difficult time for her and her family. In 2023, she lost her father, who she told People she may name her baby after if it's a boy (or her paternal grandmother, if it's a girl). The same year, her husband, Randle, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and began treatment.
