‘Southern Charm’ Star Delivers Heartwarming Update on Baby Girl's Progress After Birth Six Weeks Premature - lulu

Madison LeCroy gave fans an update on her baby girl, Teddi Randle, days after her birth.

The “Southern Charm” star and her husband Brett Randle welcomed their first daughter on June 29— more than a month before her due date. LeCroy underwent a C-section at 34 weeks of pregnancy.

Speaking with Us Weekly, LeCroy, 34, said her baby girl is doing just fine after spending a few days in the NICU. “She’s a little,” LeCroy said of baby Teddi. “She’s only five pounds, but she’s breathing on her own and hasn’t needed any oxygen or anything like that. She’s kind of a little trooper. [Doctors] were shocked with how early she was that she was gonna be this independent. So I was like, ‘Oh, I wasn’t shocked at all.’”

LeCroy announced her pregnancy in February 2025.  Soon after, she shared details about her birth plan during an Amazon Live Q&A with fans. “Due month is first week of August, but scheduled last week of July,” she revealed. “So, July will be the month if everything goes as planned. So it could be either or.”

At the time, she also revealed that she would name her child after her late father, Ted LeCroy.

Lecroy shared the full details of her birth story via an Amazon Live.  She also told Us that she “prolonged” her labor as she awaited her husband to get back to Charleston from California. “I was in labor for 48 hours basically [because] my water broke at home,” she said. “We kind of prolonged the labor and Brett got here and then we waited another day and had the C-section and there she was five minutes later.”

LeCroy also shares a son, Hudson, 12, with her ex-husband Josh Hughes. In an interview with the New York Post, she noted that while she loves being a boy mom, she’s “excited to be a girl mom for the first time.”

“Everything’s pink and girly,” she said. ‘’I’m already just having such a blast. …I didn’t think I was going to get both [a boy and a girl], to be honest. So I’m very lucky to be able to experience it.”

In a post to her Instagram story, LeCroy shared an image of her and her husband snuggling in the hospital after welcoming baby Teddi—and she hinted that they may expand their family in the future.

“These are the moments I’ll never forget,” she wrote, per BravoTV.com. “We laughed til it hurt, cried happy tears, and just kept looking at each other like… we really did this. Starting our family and I’ve never felt more proud of us! Now let’s do it 3 more x.”
