Late last month, Bravo dropped the Southern Charm Season 10 premiere date and trailer, and fans have been re-watching, analyzing, and speculating non-stop since.
Southern Charm Season 9 aired from September 2023 through January, and the Season 10 trailer teased a heated upcoming season:
Per Bravo's announcement on their blog "The Daily Dish," much of the cast is returning, and some interesting newcomers will debut in Season 10.
Southern Charm's Olivia Flowers admitted to hooking up with Thomas Ravenel during the show's reunion, but this RHOBH star is still in shock.
Southern Charm's Season 10 Trailer Is 'Spicy' And 'Messy'
In their announcement, Bravo confirmed that Venita Aspen, Leva Bonaparte, Craig Conover, Taylor Ann Green, Austen Kroll, Madison LeCroy, Rodrigo Reyes, Shep Rose, and Jarrett "JT" Thomas are back in the new season.
One of the most interesting aspects of the Southern Charm Season 10 trailer were glimpses of new cast members Molly O'Connell, Salley Carson, and Ryan Albert and in the trailer, Madison describes Molly as "weird, but like in a good way."
Summer House star and former Limited Too model Paige DeSorbo also makes a guest appearance, both in the trailer and in the upcoming season; Paige's boyfriend is Craig Conover, and they're a reality TV power couple.
Fans on Reddit's r/southerncharm weighed in on the Season 10 trailer with a level of excitement typically reserved for the premiere, with the most common shocker pertaining to Venita and JT:
"Am I really supposed to believe Venita would be attracted to JT[?]"
"..do they really expect us to believe Venita would ever actually consider JT as a romantic option?"
"Aint no WAY Venita is attracted to JT. NO WAY!"
Incidentally, a few days after the trailer hinted at something between Venita and JT, JT shared a "soft launch" style Instagram post, captioned:
"long overdue #itscomplicated"
The woman in the Instagram pic was not Venita, and RealityBlurb identified her as Ali Pereless.
According to that source, JT was subsequently "called out for potentially staging a 'fake love triangle' with Venita" in the trailer.
Instagram commenters were largely unimpressed, and three remarked:
"Announcing a relationship with the its complicated hashtag is savage[.]"
"[I'm] calling the police for this caption."
"But what about Venita?"
The site added that after JT's Instagram post was published, Venita unfollowed him.
Luckily, Southern Charm fans don't have to wait very long for Season 10's arrival it officially debuts on December 5 (a Thursday) at 9pm.
