SShep Rose Shares Update After Admitting Alcohol Problems at Southern Charm Reunion, Says He Was “Searching for Answers” in Costa Rica and Hints at “Harsh Realities,” as Craig Conover Reacts

Shep Rose shared an update after addressing his alcohol issues at the Southern Charm reunion – when he declared his plan to give up hard booze.

At the time, Shep admitted to blacking out during most of BravoCon 2023. Many at the reunion suggested it wasn’t the first time. Shep hinted that he’ll switch to just beer.

“So last week I was at @rythmia_ down in Costa Rica,” wrote Shep in a January 18 Instagram post. “I was searching for answers a bit and stumbled upon this spot … I feel very clear, happy and hopeful now that I’m home.”

“One of the many things I took from the week — A yoga/meditation teacher had a shirt … that said what’s mine is mine, what’s yours is yours. Y No Pasa Nada (which means and that’s ok. All good. Etc),” Shep continued. “We all have different approaches, ideas, points of views/opinions. And they are ours. And yours is yours. And that’s alright … For me it’s Now time to chart another course in my trusty vessel that’s gotten me this far. #coursecorrect and I can’t wait to see what’s on the horizon.”

In one video, Shep said he journaled on the trip to organize his thoughts in a “hectic environment.” He also shared that he’s “going through a lot” and there are “harsh realities.”

The star hinted that he’ll be sharing more from the journal as it “unlocked” certain things for him.

His friend Craig Conover offered his support in the comments.

“Proud of you buddy,” wrote Craig, who had agreed at the reunion that Shep should change his ways.
