Olivia Flowers admitted to hooking up with Thomas Ravenel on Thursday’s premiere episode of the Southern Charm season nine reunion.
As Olivia, 31, faced off with Taylor Ann Green, 29, who called her out for a supposed betrayal of Kathryn Dennis, 31, claiming it was the “same situation” as their love triangle with Austen Kroll, 36, which Olivia denied, Shep Rose, 44, opened up about his drinking problem.
After Taylor alluded to something Olivia had done “to a friend and a confidant,” ultimately noting she was referring to “the whole Thomas situation,” Olivia came clean.
“I was fresh out of college, 20-years-old, dumb, drunken night. One time, had a hookup with T-Rav and I wanted to take it to my grave. Like, who wouldn’t? But then [Madison LeCroy] called it out last year,” Olivia revealed as she was seen denying the hookup at the season eight reunion. “And right afterwards, I sat down with Taylor, and I said, ‘I appreciate you taking up for me but you should know something did happen.’ And she’s the only person I told on earth about that and here you are sitting here now trying to use it against me.”
“[It’s the] same situation. Kathryn is a friend and confidant. You lied about it, so why didn’t you go to Kathryn and say, ‘I’m sorry?’” Taylor wanted to know.
“I didn’t know Kathryn then. I met Kathryn after it happened,” Olivia fired back.
But according to Taylor, Olivia told her the hookup happened five years ago after the birth of Thomas and Kathryn’s second child, son Saint Julien, now eight.
When host Andy Cohen, 55, questioned Olivia about whether Thomas, 61, and Kathryn were together at the time, Olivia said she wasn’t sure before targeting Taylor’s messy antics.
“She’s just been sitting there chomping at the bit to use it against me. Not only have you proven yourself to be a sh*t friend. You’re a sh*t human, too,” Olivia concluded.
Elsewhere, Shep admitted to being at a crossroads with his drinking.
“I was out of control, drunk in Las Vegas. I scared the sh*t out of me,” Shep confessed. “I was blacked out. I can’t even tell you what happened [at BravoCon].”
During the fan event, Austen tried to take care of Shep and said it wasn’t the “first time” he did so.
After acknowledging that he “appreciates” Austen, Shep confirmed he’s had a discussion with his “close friends” about his drinking — but Craig Conover, 34, didn’t attend.
“This road that you’re on, ends with a cliff. I can’t be in that car anymore. That’s why I didn’t go,” Craig explained. “After BravoCon, it’s dark, but I was like, ‘He’s going to ruin his life and I have to be OK with that because we’ve been here before.’”
As Austen assured Shep that he’s here for him, Shep said he “would love [his] support and help anytime” as he confirmed he’s ready to make “some major changes.”
“I thought, ‘Who am I? How am I of any value to anybody? You’re hurting yourself, bro,” Shep shared of a post-BravoCon moment. “My body and my mind are telling me, ‘No, no no, sir.’ I can’t do it anymore the way that I used to.”
Although Shep hasn’t stopped drinking yet, he quit drinking liquor.
“I’m going to follow your lead,” Shep told Craig, who revealed he too no longer drinks liquor.
Shep’s ex-girlfriend, Taylor, also weighed in on the situation, saying, “It makes me happy to hear all of this. I know the real Shep. He’s an incredible, kind, smart human being.”
The Southern Charm season nine reunion continues next Thursday, January 18, at 9/8c on Bravo.
