“Southern Charm” alum Olivia Flowers is sharing details about planning her upcoming wedding.
While speaking to Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” in March 2025, Flowers shared that she and her fiance, Alex Williams, had some difficulty deciding where they would like to get married. Flowers explained that she lived in several towns throughout her childhood.
“It was really deciding the city because that was the hardest thing for me. We moved quite a bit when I was growing up, so I had different hometowns,” said Flowers during the interview.
She then quipped that she and Williams “decided on North America” as to where they will get married.
Flowers also shared that her married friends have helped her plan her wedding.
“They have been helpful giving me feedback. So that’s the perk of going last [to get married] in the friend group,” said Flowers.
She also said that she gets inspiration for her upcoming ceremony when she goes to her friends’ weddings.
Flowers announced her engagement to Williams in an October 2024 Instagram post. One of the photos showed Williams proposing to Flowers.
“‘Engagement photos are corny.’ -Me.. a week ago. It was perfection. Thank you all for this unforgettable PROPOSAL… WHAT?! I love you, especially you Alexander 😘,” wrote Flowers in the post’s caption.
Several fans flocked to the post’s comments section to share their congratulations for the couple.
“Congratulations 🥂🍾💍. So excited for you!! ❤️,” wrote a commenter.
“Congratulations sweetheart! I’m so so happy for you,” added another.
“I am so very happy for you. Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️,” shared an Instagram user.
Flowers exited “Southern Charm” after its 9th season. In a July 2024 interview on “Vanderpump Rules” personality Scheana Shay‘s podcast, “Scheananigans with Scheana Shay,” Flowers said it was not her choice to leave the series. She said she “was super bummed” that her contract was not renewed.
“I got the call a few weeks before filming [season 10] for the production company. It was just kind of like asking the questions like, ‘You don’t really seem to be in Charleston that much. We’re noticing on your Instagram, you’re traveling. You know, you’re in Texas. You got this new boyfriend. It just seems like you’ve chosen a different path,’” said Flowers during the podcast interview.
During an August 2024 interview on Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp‘s podcast, “Two Ts In A Pod,” Flowers said she would like to return to the series.
“I enjoyed the whole process. I really did. Like I said I was bummed not to be asked back,” said Flowers.
