Source Shares Why Melissa Gorga Refused to Allow Niece Gia Giudice Stay at Their Jersey Shore HomeA source shared the reason why Melissa Gorga reportedly refused to let niece Gia Giudice stay at their Jersey Shore beach house in the past.

After Teresa Giudice revealed the story on a recent episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey, many fans were outraged at Melissa, who claims she’s always there for her nieces. Earlier in the season, however, Teresa’s daughters challenged Melissa’s assertion that she helped out during their mother’s prison sentence.
According to a source who spoke to Page Six, the “reason [Melissa] said no is because it was on a weekend where [husband] Joe and Melissa were not going to be at the house.”

The source also alleged that Teresa’s daughter “wanted to stay there with a couple of friends,” but Gia was “underage” at the time.

The insider claimed Joe and Melissa “didn’t feel comfortable” allowing this to happen because there was “no adult supervision.”

“They obviously love Gia,” said the source. “If Joe or Melissa — just one adult — was at their house, they would have let her stay.”

During the episode, castmate Jennifer Aydin asked Teresa if she’d “ever stayed at [her] brother’s beach house.”

“No,” Teresa answered, “never.”

The star went on to say, “[My daughter] Gia asked to stay there once, and Melissa said no … I wanna be around people that love us.”

The tension between the families is growing on the show, and it will eventually lead to Joe and Melissa’s decision to skip Teresa’s wedding.
